I love this place - from the outside garden, to the toys for table numbers - it's just gorgeous and interesting without the 'affectation' of being too hip for regular folk. Big tables and small tables, some communal, some small and cosy. I love the coffee and cake but there's always people around having full lunches. I've had perhaps one so-so coffee out of 20 - a great score in my opinion! Love it.

It doesn't have the same charm or magic as the city store, and it is generally pretty quiet. But the products are divine, as most of Haigh's chocolates are. I prefer the 'experience' of the city store, but still a good way to get my chocolate frog fix outside the city.

My favourite place to go in the city - by far. The smell, the look of the place.. and the sample given in the palm of your hand when you buy something, it's all the magic of an old school chocolate shop with just divine quality products.

To begin with - the bagels are awesome. There's no argument that these guys are right at the top of Melbourne bagels. The service at Glick's can be testy though, and the staff don't always look happy for you to be there. But I'd rather a less than smiley staff for one of their onion bagels - my absolute favourite.

Great seating, not often overcrowded, and not so many teeny tiny screens as the local Village. But the films available are often lacking, I couldn't believe that The King's Speech was not showing when it first came out - and only after a month was it shown. But the seats are comfortable and spacious, and the bathrooms clean.

My favourite sushi place in Geelong. The mixed roll is my favourite - I don't really know what it is that's in it (fried fish crumb? Not sure). I've had hot dishes once or twice, and while they're nice, the sushi is the real winner here. Takeaway sushi service is fast and almost a little rushed, a big queue at lunch hour means you don't have long to look at the sushi available, but you soon find your favourites.

Love the sushi - always fresh and affordable. The hot dishes can be a bit hit and miss depending on what you order - the sauces can be a little MSG-y and cloying, but the salad and fried meats are delicious, fresh and great value. But a great sushi spot.

I just LOVE this place - the variety of goods - breads, veges, herbs, European pastas, German condiments, a FANTASTIC deli with local hams and foreign cheeses, it has it all. My favourite is the day-old sourdough, sold for a bargain.
