I was living at this facility when Freedom took over. The takeover was done harshly and several of the residents (renters) found themselves having to relocate. 2 of these residents being in their 90's.
I observed new staff screaming at distraught residents. I witnessed several incidences of people being treated rudely and with no compassion.
I sent a long email to this company to try to ask for slightly better treatment for the residents that was pretty much disregarded. I have been threatened for posting my feelings about this company on Facebook. And I have been banned from entering the facility, pretty much effectively severing all my friendships that I had formed during the nearly 3 years of living there, for inciting unrest amongst the residents (thats what they call it if you listen to the residents grievances apparently)
It is pretty expensive to live there, and last i heard, residents have taken to looking after each other because that is just the kind of people they are, and they cannot count on the staff.
I would certainly NOT think about putting anyone I loved in there

Went in to redeem a free voucher for contact lenses. The girl was very helpful and arranged for me to have an free eye test so that they can give me the correct contact lenses. Also went out of her way to find out about coloured lenses for me which I specifically asked for.

I go here mainly because its convenient for me. I only go there if I need one or two things as its a bit more expensive than the big supermarkets, I certainly would not do my main shopping here. And the way they have the checkout set up at the moment means you can be waiting in a queue for a while. But they are doing renovations at the moment so hopefully they will look into this. I am disabled and some days I find it really hard to stand for extended periods, especially since I only have 1 or 2 items.

I have been there a few times looking for a cheap haircut as all I want is basically a trim. They always tend to take too much off leaving me with hair that sticks up and looks terrible for a few weeks. Luckily my hair grows quickly, but I definitely won't be going back. And they aren't that cheap any more either. I now pay less but get the cut I want elsewhere.

I have bought a few things from here as it is handy for me. A bit difficult sometimes to attract the attention of staff members to answer questions or help you find what you are looking for. They often try to sell you a more expensive brand of similar equipment but you just have to be firm with them. i only tend to go there if I know exactly what I want and cannot be bothered shopping around but the products I have bought there so far have not given me any problems.

Went there with a group from our Retirement Village and had a wonderful day. The staff were all fantastic, even offering those of us that couldn't walk far to be transported around so we didn't miss anything. The lunch served at the Cafe was enjoyed by all and was really good value as well. The bus trip through the place gave us all lots of good photo opportunities of the animals and the information along the way was clear for those of us that are hard of hearing. A great day was had by all who went along and we still rate it as one of our favourite outings.

I buy a lot of clothing from this store, mainly because they have styles that appeal to me but also because they cater for plus size women like myself, as well as the smaller sizes. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Nearly everything I buy from here attracts compliments, which being a plus size girl, It's nice to know that clothes still look nice on you. Also the quality of their garments is very good, washes well, and doesn't stretch or lose its shape. The long sleeved tee-shirts I bought last year are still like new, even after several washes. This is my go to shop when I'm looking for something a bit different or special. Love shopping here.

I get all my medications from here, and I'm on a lot of medications. The staff are friendly and very helpful, and no questions are too much trouble for them. They also make sure that none of my medications interact with one another which is very important in my situation. There vitamins are a bit expensive so I buy them elsewhere, but otherwise I cannot fault them. They even deliver same day if you ring in the morning, a very handy option for me sometimes.

I buy most of my clothing from this store. The sizes are accurate, and the prices are very reasonable although sometimes the quality isn't fantastic. Still great for everyday wear especially if your on a budget. I really like Millers.

I have bought most of my electrical stuff from this store, although sometimes getting someone to help can take a while. I feel they are a bit understaffed. But once you do get help they all seem to go above and beyond the call of duty. Overall pretty happy with this store and will definitely buy from them again.
