Wow, where to start with Automotive Superstore?

I made a purchase for an item that was needed within seven days, as I was moving.
Therefore, I paid express post to obtain this item within the time frame.

Two days later, it was not sent yet. I called Automotive Superstore, and after 30 minutes of waiting on hold with no response, I gave up and sent an email asking if my item had been sent. The response I got from Kevin was quote,
"Your order is packed and will be dispatching with express today. As soon as it is collected you will be notified." This was untrue.

The next day, I contacted Kevin again about this not being sent, and I explained that I paid express post for a reason, needing it by the end of the week, (which was impossible by now).

Kevin responded quote, "In this instance, I am more than happy to refund your the difference on express shipping
or I can offer you the full amount as a store credit for your next purchase.

Although disappointed that my item was shown to be in stock, with the option of express post, I thought this offer to be fair, as it had not even been sent yet.

I took the offer of a full amount in store credit.

Four days after my purchase, it was finally sent, but not expected to next week sometime.

The next day, I received an email from Kevin saying that the difference in postage has been put in as store credit. I responded, saying, "That is not what was agreed to.
We agreed on a full amount store credit, and if you are going to renege on that agreement, the difference would need to be put back into my account."
Kevin responded, saying he would put the difference into my account....still waiting!

My problem with Automotive Superstore that people need to be aware of are:
1) At times, they say items are in stock when they are not.
2) At times, their reps make assurances that are untrue.
3) At times, they renege on promises given to rectify a sales issue.
4) They don't answer their phones.

I am done with Automotive Superstore and will not purchase from their again!
