Very ordinary Turkish food. The atmosphere and experience though is nice but I couldn't get over how ordinary the food was.
We had the Turkish bread garlic bread and it was very plain. Could hardly taste any garlic.
We had a mixture of mains. The lamb salad was very chewy, the lamb shanks were cooked nicely but the sauce was very bland and we also had a turkish casserole which was also very bland! I personally had the casserole and was very disappointed. I get really annoyed when I order something and could have Easily made better at home and that's exactly what I felt about this whole dinner.
The desserts were the best party of the evening. I had the Baklava which is very hard to get wrong in a Turkish restaurant and thought they were nice even though they'd been slightly overcooked.
Also - beware of this restaurant if you had nut alergies as they put pistachio pieces of all the desserts so we had to get 2 sent back because 2 friends are allergic to nuts!

Siana is in a beautiful spot in the city and we always enjoy coming here for a relaxing lunch or dinner.
The food and drinks are quite expensive and could even be said to be slightly too much but we always get a platter to share for approx. $30 each that has about 6 different options and alot of food included. We find that this option allows you to try much more on the menu and feel more satisfied.

This review is for Joseph Alexanders Restaurant, Milton QLD

My husband and I love Joseph Alexander's. It's one of our favourite restaurants in Brisbane.
The food is always good even though it is expensive - it's worth it.
The last time we went we were less impressed than last time but only due to the service. I think there is a new owner or restaurant manager who was quite rude during our entire meal.
We had bought a $300 dining voucher for a friend and ended up using it ourselves because they moved overseas and his attitude when we paid was very upsetting! Even though we'd already paid them $300 for dinner - the fact that we were now using our voucher seemed to annoy him. We've been hesitant to go back since this last time but hopefully the food hasn't changed because it's always been beautiful.
The duck is a good pick as it's always fantastic!

Love this Hog's Breath.
The food, service and position of the restaurant is fantastic!
The restaurant is very big but we find that there is always tonnes of staff on so you never have to wait to long to order, get your meal or find someone to get you a drink!

This is my favourite Thai Restaurant!
The food is absolutely amazing and not too fatty or creamy. Really fresh meats and ingredients give the food great flavour!
The Massaman Beef, Prawn Red and Yellow curries are my favourites. The Dim Sims, Chicken Satay Skewers and money bags are also absolutely beautiful.

This has to be one of my all time favourite restaurants.
The food here is always beautiful and the service is great. Yes, it is expensive but the food is so beautiful that you really don't mind.
The bald waiter is fantastic and really professional. He knows the menu so well so can answer any questions you might have.
Beautiful restaurant that we go to for any special occasion!

My husband and I tried takeaway from here and hated it. There was nothing amazing about this Thai at all and found the curries ridiculously watery and the meat was VERY VERY chewy.
The man that served us also had no idea what he was doing. Won't go back!

My husband and I eat here quite regularly for a nice meal out.
I find the breads and mains are great quality however, the entrees are a bit disappointing considering the price you're paying.
We always get the bread with dukkah and fetta which is absolutely beautiful and the reef and beef here is probably the best I've ever had!!!

We always buy our dog supplies from here. We find the rewards programs and extensive stock in store fantastic so we don't ever need to go anywhere else.
The service can sometimes be hit and miss. I find the men staff are much better than the women with the men always helping with carrying my dog food bags or asking me for help when I look confused.

This review is for Fasta Pasta, Capalaba QLD

verified email - 12 Aug 2010

We have been to Fasta Pasta about 4 times - each time we order here the outcome is always different. The first time it was fantastic however the next 2 times have been very disappointing.
The second time we ordered takeaway and were told it would be about 25 mintues so when we arrived after 25 minutes and told it wasn't ready we thought it couldn't be too far away - 45 minutes later we had our very ordinary pastas and bread that were so disappointing I couldn't even eat most of mine.
I find that each time I order one thing - it's different each time so something I like the first time will be something I don't like the third.
We won't bother going back!
