This review is for Westfield Parramatta Car Park, Parramatta NSW

Wow, I can review a carpark. ._. Okay, lol. Three hours free is pretty much what I'm there for. But I have yet to fully-grasp this carpark's layout. It's so large and some of it branches off to goodness-knows-where. ._. One sad thing is there is NO carpark that is right at the cinema section of Westfield. Bit of a walk from anywhere.

Red/green indicator lights are cute but sometimes malfunction.

CRISPY CHICKEN RICE. I love it. It's actually properly-crispy outside, and tender inside.

The rest of the items on the menu...meh. (I always feel the pork chop serving is kinda small.) Decor is quite nice, rather modern. Sometimes there's a queue, since it's kinda small. But if you want the crispy chicken rice, it's worth the wait!

Surprisingly good! It's a bit of a hole in a wall kinda place. I think. Not so sure about the description, let's just say it's casual/canteen.

Pork chop rice came with TWO LARGE pork chops. Amazing value. (The special rice came with one large pork chop and other stuffs.) Vermicelli salad was refreshing, as always.

I think I'll come back for the pork chop rice..

Newly-opened, but queues and service are pretty brisk. Food came out fast on one occasion, and INCREDIBLY fast on another. Well done, pre-cooking?!

Very nice: Hainanese chicken rice, bryani rice, teh tarik, cham. (Their drinks tend towards the sweet, just a warning.)
Was just ok/kinda disappointing: Nasi lemak, wat tan hor, 'pan' mee (T_T It's ok if you like dry ban mian though..), Hainanese chicken with any combination that is not rice.
Didn't like: garlic naan, deep fried chicken skin, roti bom, their canai.

I actually had a longer review typed out but it got eaten when I pressed some random button. :( Feel free to ask if you'd like more details on what dishes I like/don't. XD

This review is for Bondi Pizza, Parramatta NSW

I like this place for their wood-fired pizzas. Some of the flavours are kinda quirky. (Though I guess I'm not very adventurous...salmon on pizza was a bit funny.) There's a new peking duck pizza. Might have to try that out. The steak pizza was pretty good.

Entrees: Stuffed mushrooms disappointing, I can make better/tastier. Ciabatta surprisingly good, served with a sweet-tangy balsamic vinegar dip. Garlic bread ok, wedges yumm with a fat dollop of sour cream.

Do note: with promotions, results may vary depending on the person you speak to. (Sometimes we're told it's ok, other times not..)

This review is for Ribs & Rumps, Parramatta NSW

Ribs were ok, but I've had better. Semi-alfresco, though, and the spot where I sat at (indoors, it just has a lot of doors) had this draft that made me quite sad! Didn't bring along a jacket that night.. For some reason I felt like it was overpriced on the day. Looking at the menu, it seems fine, though. Portions might have been smaller than expected.

Words cannot describe how much I love Puffy's cream puffs. Chocolate...delicious. Cream...yum. Crunchy top layer with soft fluffy insides. The puffs actually keep for a day too. Does get a bit melty but still nice. Also offered in a set, something like $5 with a bubble tea. Well worth it, in my opinion.

This review is for Thainabox, Parramatta NSW

I'd been to the Thainabox at Burwood so was expecting something similar..but clearly the chefs here are better! (Or I went to Burwood on an off day..) Portions were good-sized, tasty. Pad thai could have used a little something but was still quite satisfying. Tom yum was delicious (if you like tom yum, I always feel like I'm reminded of detergent). Staff were cheerful. Would definitely come back again.

P.S. They recognise the digital Entertainment book no problem.

Somewhat-overpriced Thai food. Normal-sized portions. Average taste, nothing spectacular. Okay ambience if you like tablecloths and wine glasses with your dining experience. Can be a bit hard to get the attention of wait staff.

Manager/counter staff ok with digital Entertainment book. Wait staff (or at least the one who served us) not so much.

Cheongfun galore! Priced very reasonably at about $8 for a plate of 4, or $8.80 for a large bowl of porridge and 2 pieces of cheongfun during lunch. (There are other combos, like porridge and..glutinous rice? I'm not sure, I was fixated on the cheongfun. xD) A generous serving of Chinese-style you char kway? Only $1.80. Great over that porridge.

In terms of taste, both the cheongfun and porridge we tried were a bit plain. I used some of the salt/msg (not really sure which, lol) available at the table, but miraculously, after a few more bites (and no further additions of salt), it got more and more tasty. Like magic?! Both had nice chunks of meat. Cheongfun was chewy. (Which I liked. Some people may not.)

Only marked down for initial plain taste. Saw another customer ask for soy sauce. ^^"
