I love their bukkake udon (great that it happens to be the cheapest thing on the menu too..XD), the rest of the stuff is only ok. Be careful of rising costs if you add too many tempura sides. :) The sweet potato at $1 (I remember when it used to be 70-80c..) is nice, but the rest tend towards oily. Nonetheless, good to grab a quick bite. Now, if only I could replicate the bukkake sauce at home, since I have the frozen udon..^^"

Dined in with 30% discount from Yumtable. Prices were high-normal without the discount, but extremely reasonable with. Curry puff was not spicy at all, but okay. Pad thai was nice. Pineapple rice was a bit disappointing. Tom Kha was nice. Roasted garlic and peppercorn duck was also good.

Overall we were very happy with the food, and the service was good. One small concern, though...when we were dining, noticed two small cockroaches around our table. I know these things happen, but it still made me feel like I had to have my feet off the floor for the duration of the meal. ^^"

Khao Moo Dang was really nice, loved the gravy. Hardly get to eat charsiew rice like that! Gway Jub was a bit disappointing, I felt like it was more boat-noodle-like with a very strong-tasting soup, and the Chinese pasta bits were a bit hard and not quite as soft as I wanted. They still had tub tim grob (red ruby) dessert when I went there, which I was extremely pleased to find. Tasted superb, generous number of red rubies though it was served in a rather small bowl. A pity they didn't have banana fritters on the day, though. :(

Price was very reasonable and we will be back when we're in the area.

I heard the food here was bland so just came for a snack. Or chien was okay in flavour, so-so in cooking (was rather too mushy) -- came with four fat oysters, but overall plate was pretty small for the $16. (I guess oysters are expensive? ^^") Fried durian was interesting ($8) but I don't know if it's best paired with the ice cream...the first bite was superb if you like durian, but toward the end it started becoming strangely tasteless. ._. Kat chai suen mui was so-so. Apam balik (crispy Malay style) was ok -- you get two pieces for $6, but you can also get one much-larger crispy crepe at the buy-one-get-one-free bubble tea place at Town Hall station so I don't know.. ^^"

Overall the portions of what I got were small, but I haven't tried out a proper main so hard to tell. Probably won't be back, though, it's a bit out of the way.

Love their chicken! Even mad hot, though that's a bit of a slow burn that you don't notice after a while. XD Comes with grilled rice cakes and some hash browns. Generous servings for the price. Their wedges with sour cream and chili also pretty good.

Wednesday half-price chicken, $15 (or $16 with sauce, I think? Some amount around there) for two medium-sized boxes of chicken with bone. Not as crispy or as spicy as I would prefer. Took a while for them to prepare, though, for some reason. But their side dishes, two portions for $5, is good value. Chicken came with pickled radish cubes, yum.

Great banchan, and we got refills with no problem. Hotpot was not bad, generous amount of meat. Was more of a stir fry (shallow pan?) than hot pot, though. I guess it's a different style. Average price.

I got lost finding this because I'm ridiculous, but it's right on the main road up north from King's Cross. Small place with just a few rooms, but really friendly therapists. Good at putting you at ease.

The reds had quite a bite, and the port was really strong and brandy-based. Not necessarily a bad thing, but not really my style. I happily bought home a bottle of beautiful Moscato for $20.

I wasn't expecting much, but the bbq chicken pizza was actually pretty nice. A bit of avocado for every slice. Self-service, at least outside in the al fresco area. Not sure about inside. (You have to grab your own cutlery as well.)
