I just had a call from someone at Word of Mouth hoping to get me to subscribe with them or at least pay $690 a year for their services. He convinced me to try my location with my business type in the search. Which I did. My issue is that the platform returns results that are utterly irrelevant to the search criteria. I did see my business way down the page. The only business in the area at the time. However every listing before mine was in Sydney, Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane. It seems paid advertising overrides good sense. This detracts from any benefit they are offering as the first page is littered with irrelevant locations. No one is going to drive 60km or 3000Km to Perth. Their system should report services within a given distance of the searched for location. I have asked them to close my account immediately meaning this may not even stay in the system.
