Oh dear. The owners have changed and this place isnt anywhere near as good as it was. While the prices are still pretty low, the food is not as good, and the portions smaller. Most importantly, I have had dodgy bits of meat in my meal- including a bone in a dish that it shouldn't be in! Plus some yucky gristle. Also, they dont always have someone who speaks English with confidence on the phones and have supplied the wrong item in takeaway, despite doublechecking on our end. Cash only, however, there is an ATM nearby or use the cash-out facility when you shop at Drakes. I can no longer recommend these guys and am going further away to get my Asian food.

Having had intensive back surgery I thought, despite Physio, that pain and weeks spent in bed were my lot. Bless the person who recommended Bowen Massage! I am now almost always pain free and can exercise without fear of causing damage. Gentle, non invasive but effective, it can seem like the therapist isn't doing much, but basically these small actions remind the body of where muscles should sit and, with a gentle 'ah' as they settle back in place, suddenly pathways are cleared for toxins to be released and chemicals to travel around the body like they should. Have recommended this practitioner to so many friends who have gone: 'wow', that it can be hard to get an appointment if its not urgent. (If it's really bad, Fred can also come to you.) Fortunately usually all I need now is the occasional gentle reminder to my body to keep things travelling well. If you are in pain, I totally recommend Bowen. (P.S. claimable on BUPA)

Due to back problems I often find a massage can make things worse, however, not the case here! Not only do I feel relaxed at the end of the massage but lots of aches are gone and no problems later. I am very happy recommending this business. A quiet, peaceful salon room; this business is attached to a home, but completely professional. Apart from swedish and hot stone massage, other treatments such as facials, nails, ear candling, waxing and tinting are available. Worth noting that payment is by cash only. I can recommend this as a gift, as vouchers are available. Go: enjoy!

My hair looks the best it ever has. Really happy with colour. Well cut. Consistently good experience. Friendly, helpful, experienced hair dresser. This is a relatively new business, worth supporting!

Consistent excellent care. Helpful specific advice at checkup. Pain managed very well- removes a lot of that dental 'fear.' Expensive definitely, but high quality service in all areas. I have been a customer for many years and despite having moved, dont mind travelling for the peace of mind. Friendly staff make you feel genuinely welcome.
