I haven't had a meal at the Skinny Dog, just been for drinks, but it was always busy, crowded and noisy – it has great atmosphere. It was great for drinks on a Friday night.

I've only been to The Palace twice, but was impressed both times. Nice large dining area, friendly and polite staff, and the food was good at reasonable prices. Definitely a good place for a night out.

When painting my house, I bought all my paints from Hammonds as they had the best prices for what I wanted. The staff were polite and helpful, and although I bought a LOT of paint, the cost was better than I had expected. (I'd budgeted $2000 – actual cost was $1200.) I can definitely recommend Hammonds for all your painting needs.

Abundant Life Books is a Christian book store with a wide range of products, including books, bookmarks, cards, gift wrap, calendars, diaries and other gift ideas.

There is a large variety of books, but you can also order books if they are not in store, and the delivery turnaround time is very good, usually within a week. And the books are of reasonable prices.

The staff are friendly and helpful, especially the owner, Nicky, who felt it was her calling to open this book shop.

I had a leaking toilet that needed fixing and contacted Gary to fix the problem. He explained that he had a large job on at the time and wouldn't be able to fix it until the following week. I was disappointed but understanding.

However, just after 5pm the day I phoned, he turned up and explained he was on his way home but thought he'd drop in to see what the problem was. He examined the toilet and said he could fix it straight away, so he did. I was very grateful and also impressed that he went out of his way for me. I highly recommend Gary.

I found Chris's advert in my local paper and phoned to make an appointment. She arrived promptly, was friendly, professional and efficient, and I was satisfied with the haircut. Her fees are very reasonable, at $15 for a haircut. I definitely recommend Chris.

I love Aldi. I find the prices to be very good, and the quality of products are excellent. On the odd occasion when I wasn't happy with an item, I took it back with my receipt and they promptly refunded my money. I love the fact that it takes me less than half an hour to do my shopping. The only negative comment I have is that I wish they would employ more checkout assistants, as the lines do get very long.

I found Carol to be a very good masseuse, as she listened to me when I explained my problem areas, and she effectively massaged the tension knots out of me. It doesn't take long to relax, and several times I have dozed off during the massage.

I definitely recommend Carol if you need a massage.
