went here for a 21st, top floor's very roomy (dancefloor was fine, areas for sitting and drinking and there's a billiards room as well), toilets are pretty clean and staff were quite nice

bottom floor had live gigs which was cute

love the location and how it's practically next to the station, and taxis are a plenty

I've only been to The Palace twice, but was impressed both times. Nice large dining area, friendly and polite staff, and the food was good at reasonable prices. Definitely a good place for a night out.

I've only been here once, but as The Palace is right near Camberwell train station, I've been past it many times. I was impressed - a really nice bar. If you're looking for a nightclub area, camberwell isn't the right place, it doesn't have the same sort of nightlife as the city or glenferrie rd. But this was just a nice place to have a drink and see friends.

Will come again.

Great food and friendly staff. Plenty of space for office gatherings. Sport playing on TV makes a great eating spot with your mates.

Approximate cost: $24

I love the prices and values of drinks at the bar, and i love the pool table and entertainment. But theres a lack of pub atmosphere.

The Palace is conveniently located in Camberwell, however that is the only exceptional feature of this pub/pokies/function hotel. The Palace is fairly average but if your just after a good night for an average price tits the perfect place to go.

Visited Palace Camberwell on a Thursday night for karaoke Thursday's!! Well organised karaoke competition, where each singer game enough to get up and belt out a tune receives a tequila shot, and if you are that good, and you win, its a $50 cash prize. The DJ is very amusing, bright shirt and encouraging, the patrons are also good natured, a very fun night.
If you get there before 9pm, you can also buy a chicken parma (decent sized), with a schooner for only $12, great value to kick of an entertaining night.
