Didn't turn up with no explanation given.

1 hour after appointment we sent a text to them, no response. We tried to call them, No response.
They didn't answer until we texted them to say don't bother coming and we were going elsewhere, when they texted back " OK". That's all we got?

I visited with a friend a couple of weeks ago. The ambiance is quite nice, with an atmosphere that feels light and spacious. However, the service left something to be desired: the server spilled hot tea on me, with a lukewarm apology. None of the servers seemed to be smiling, so we didn't feel particularly welcome or valued as customers. The green tea that I ordered was served far too hot (green tea should be brewed at a lower temperature than black tea). On a more positive note, my friend and I shared a slice of 'Mud cake' which was delicious. This cafe seems to be fairly new, so hopefully the issues that we experienced are just start-up 'bumps' that will be smoothed out as time goes by. If I visit again and things have improved, then I'll update my review.

I can't say enough good things about Chris' IGA. The staff must be chosen for customer service skills, because every single one has been so helpful and friendly. When I was hopping around on crutches, the staff would not only carry my items out to the car for me, but also helped pick the items off the shelf, and even carried a basket around the store for me! All I had to do was tell them what I wanted. Truly exceptional customer service! I complimented an employee, and expressed my gratitude for this extra help, and her reply was, "Well, our motto is 'we pack, we carry, we care'." And I can confirm that they really do care! :)

Another bonus: the store is open from 6am til 10pm, 7 days, which is really convenient when you realise you've forgotten an ingredient for a late-night supper! :)

You can find almost anything you need here, and it's always good to support a local, family-owned business. So, if you're in the Carina/Carindale area, I'd encourage you to give them a try! :)

My family loves this place. EXCELLENT value for money, probably the most economical way to get a good meal without cooking it yourself. :) As the previous reviewer said, the shop is very clean (they seem to be cleaning almost every time I'm there), and most of the staff are friendly. The food is reliably fresh and delicious. They also offer a loyalty program, buy 9 kebabs, get the 10th free ... what's not to love? :)

My family have been frequent customers at this location for the past two years. I would compare the burritos (especially the beans) to 'Chipotle' restaurants in the U.S. (and I am NOT a fan of Chipotle). Having lived in California where delicious, authentic Mexican food is available on practically every corner, I may be a bit biased against this style of cuisine. :) It's passable, but not great.

The last few times we visited, there was a noticeable decline in quality (e.g., 'spicy' chicken had become rather bland, and there seemed to be less meat in the burritos than previously), so we have stopped eating there for the time being; we may decide to give them another shot at some point in the future, to see if things have improved. I'll update my review when that happens.

Excellent quality food, and the service is always friendly. San Ho is a step above the 'usual' Asian fare: it's always fresh and nicely spiced, never too bland, and not oily/soggy like some other places we've tried. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

Our family only gets fish & chips at Peter's ... nowhere else will do! :) My husband says their potato scallops are the best in Brisbane, and the fish is always super fresh and well-prepared. The owner and his family are absolutely lovely, and treat us as though we were family, not just 'customers'. We highly recommend this shop!

Fantastic dentist. Doesn't try to 'sell' unnecessary extra procedures as some other dentists do. Truly cares about her patients. She's patient and always happy to answer questions and discuss treatment in detail, or provide advice about after-care. I have recommended her to other family members who have now become happy patients as well. After many bad dental experiences at other dental practices, I'm so thankful that our family has discovered Myra's practice!
