Yesterday Chesnut had surgery on her knee at this Veterinary Hospital and I am truly appreciative of all that they did for her. Today, Chesnut is wide awake - resting easily, eating well and drinking well. Sure she is sore, but she got up this morning and hobbled about for a bit and I even took her outside to go potty - which she did (under me supervision). She is now resting again in her bed. Just so the Staff at BV C&H know, Chesnut again does not have to wear the cone of shame, she just doesn't lick at her wounded knee. She did the same when she was desexed, the stitches never seemed to worry her at all. I am pretty proud of my little girl and how well she is coping and bouncing back and its only day 2!!!! Thank you BVC&H for your wonderful care of my little girl.
