I am probably the patient from hell. When I was growing up, my father was one of San Francisco's leading dentists, so in looking for a dentist in Melbourne my expectations were high: beautiful work, zero pain and plenty of information. After a few disappointing early experiences with some very high-profile dentists here, my husband and I have now been patients of Alistair Steel's for about eight years, and I'm so grateful we found him. Thanks to him and his hygienists, my teeth and gums have never been in better shape. (And I had had some periodontal disease while living overseas some years ago -- now, thankfully, a thing of the past.)
