to start service was very ordinary the waitress could not care less was not helpful as all the tables were taken that they deliver to we were told to come back in halfa even though we were sitting 5 tables away from people that were served to the table with food served individually when we went to collect our food we had 3 burgers squashed into a stirophome container and one burger and all the chips in another for $48.00 will be cheaper to go to the nearest fish and chips shop and take it down to the wharf and it would have more taste then these burgers very dissappointed.

entered shop the older lady that works there always seems to be in a fluster and when asked questions replies with "oh i'm not sure I haven't been properly trained you see" really this is what you want at the frontline of your business?

food is what it is cafe food easy to prepare easy to serve, venue is tidy and clean. service is lacking no interaction with customers unless they are known to the staff, staff are slow to clear tables and clean them and offer no apologies when mistakes are made. It cost nothing to smile and be polite.

sadly this was disappointing we went with the grilled platter for 2 and it all tasted the same as whatever spice they had put on it went on everything and it was also cold, no point in complaining as the chef was clearly already in a shitty mood with the amount of foul language coming from the kitchen we didn't want to risk it won't be going back in any hurry! or recommending it to anyone!

really nice to see a bit of style, food presented very well but not only did it look good but tasted good as well which I find a rarity in the Newcastle area would highly recommend for that special occasion.a little on the high $ side but well worth it.Don't be put of by the fishy smell at the entry its from the co-op and once inside the smell is gone.

the place was a mess rubbish and stuff everywhere partner was told to help himself to menu's that were sitting on top of dirty plates and a dirty dish rag sitting on the counter had I known this I would have walked then and there the food for the price was disappointing but I guess they are hoping people will just come for the view and be happy with that. miss matched cutlery and Crockery was chipped won't be going back

have had the biscuits and slices before very nice today had a pie worst pie ever eaten gluggy peppery indescribable meat and burnt pastry

have eaten there a few times overpriced for what you get for chef prepared food bit sad really but after all it is just a pub

2 days in a row i have been in there served by the same lady all i can say is rude and she shouldn't be in customer service wish they had name tags because I would name her and also inform the owners which are lovely but she puts a sour taste in my mouth where i think i'll go to Georgetown from now on.
