Our house is full of things we've purchased from these guys. The prices are always the best, and the service is fast and efficient. If the goods need to be installed, the guys are great, dont make a mess, take away the old stuff, and come when they said they would.

Personal service by the man who makes the jewelery, or his wife! I had a small item made here and have had pieces repaired, stones replaced, watch batteries replaced, items valued. Sometimes it might take longer than expected, but the workmanship is first class.

Fast and friendly service for small things like a pie or sausage roll and also able to handle sandwich platters for functions at work. The staff are friendly, patient, quick and very clean.

Sometimes this place is great, but when it has a bad night it can be really slow because its so big. Best seats are around the edge (and the view to the hills is good). Generally quick service and generous serves too.

What started life as a busy milk bar has turned into a busy little cafe selling great coffee (with a loyalty card for regulars), interesting biscuits and slices, and now does a good trade for weekend breakfasts with Phil manning the BBQ and dogs tied up while their owners indulge.

A quirky little stall with books balancing on every flat surface (and the Balwyn store is only for VERY THIN people because its full of books). The staff will look for special books if you ask, and they run a swap system for regular customers.

The staff here are helpful and friendly, giving advice on everything from what camera to buy, through choosing best pictures to enlarge or copy, to purchasing everything you need for scrapbooking too. They have an email service too and never make you feel silly. John and Sue are the sort of honest friendly hard working people you wish everyone in retail was.

We are late night regulars after meetings at work, and drop in for pasta, wine and a coffee. The waiters are old fashioned great Italian gentlemen (and the occasional lady) who never get the meals wrong and like to see everyone eating well and being in good spiriits. Always great.

Every time we visit we find a great meal on the specials board. The staff are happy to advise, never get in the way and are always quick to bring whatever you need extra. It can be loud because the floors are timber, but the food is too good to miss. You always have to book to make sure of a table.

Always an outstanding place to eat with great staff and lots of "not your average Chinese" meals. Save room for the desserts which are always fresh and different (not a lychee in sight unless you ask). Love the crispy calamari entree.
