The speciality of the house is a South Indian crispy pancake called a Dosai which are a taste sensation and possibly addictive, I am craving one now as I type. They have a very extensive menu catering for vegetarians, vegans and meat eaters. For those who are gluten free or lactose free, there is plenty to choose from on the menu. Excellent value and very authentic delicious South Indian food. If we lived closer, we would be eating there frequently.

The location is beautiful with spectacular views from the restaurant. We used a voucher and this made the dinner very good value. As vegetarians there was only the one choice for main course, which none of us enjoyed. However the entree was delicious and the dessert, a chocolate pudding, was scrumptious and worth a return visit.

Dental Excellence makes a visit to the dentist about as pleasurable as it can be! Dr Tina Son is so gentle, caring and patient as well as highly skilled in dentistry. All the staff I have met there have been very friendly and professional. I highly recommend them and based on my experiences with them, I think that even those with severe dental phobia would be surprised at how relaxed and safe they will feel in the care of Tina Son and the staff at Dental Excellence.

We visited the temple to meet Satguru Bodhinatha Veylanswami who was visiting from Kauai. I have always felt that the Temple is in the Heart. Yet this beautiful temple here in Oaklands Park is made especially sacred by the beautiful, devoted community of people there. We were blessed with such a warm, loving welcome from everyone we encountered. They really touched our hearts. Ganga introduced herself to us and another Westerner who was also visiting for the first time and she took special care of us, showing us the Temple and explaining everything we needed to know. She later kindly introduced the three of us to Satguru Bodhinatha. I will never forget the pure love experienced in the Ganesha Temple and the true generosity and spiritual devotion of this beautiful community of spiritual people.

Our favorite restaurant. Beach House Cafe has it all. The views are spectacular. We can sit outside with our dog. The food is delicious and the menu has something for everyone at very reasonable prices. We love the Mediterranean pizza - the best we have eaten. Home made sticky date pudding! Friendly service, exceptional service. On our first visit we were celebrating my birthday and the birthday of our beloved elderly dog. They gave us a dish of cooked chicken for our dog on the house. Lovely people.

The Jasmine has a warm exotic ambience and delicious Indian curries with meals available on the menu suitable for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans, with gluten free and lactose free options available. The friendly and efficient service is top notch, every time we visit. For vegetarians, our favorite dish is the eggplant curry. The vegetarian thali is very good value and we love that they offer BYO so we can bring our favorite wines.

The best haircut I have ever had and also the best value. Don't be afraid of using a voucher, the girls at Curly Top are wonderful. All the ladies I saw having their hair coloured and cut while I was there, their hair was styled beautifully and they left the salon with a radiant smile on their faces. Highly recommended.

First job was my own stone to be set into a vintage 14k gold halo ring. Unfortunately this was not possible because it was discovered the prongs were too brittle to hold the stone sitting flat. I returned with a larger Sapphire and paid extra for the prongs to be rebuilt. Work was completed very professionally and I was delighted with the end result. I also recently had an antique necklace of great sentimental value restrung and clasps replaced. They were very professional and happy to answer my questions. They even rang me whilst working on the necklace to ask which clasp I would prefer. It was definitely worth the money because they did such a beautiful job and my necklace is now more secure.
