Was out with friends and was feeling a bit hungry, had driven passed this cafe a few times and finally decided to check it out. Really liked the feel of this cafe, very friendly and heaps of menu choices. They offer wood fired pizza, wings, curries, fish and chips plus so much more. We shared a pizza for a starter and then tried some fabulous tasting wings, fish and chips. As much as I love a good curry, i found it strange to find it on the menu. This place has a great atmosphere, friendly staff and has plenty of seating inside and out.

Whilst we stayed in Encounter Bay we ventured off to this little cafe on the beach front. It was recommended to us as having the best wood oven pizzas around. I must say the quality and taste was divine but the down side was the cost for a pizza was over $20 which is a bit rich. In comparison to the Pizza I had in Sandy bay Tasmania it is hard to compare with the different types of toppings but it was cheaper in Tasmania. Overall it was a great experience and awesome place to chill out and watch the view.

Our favorite restaurant. Beach House Cafe has it all. The views are spectacular. We can sit outside with our dog. The food is delicious and the menu has something for everyone at very reasonable prices. We love the Mediterranean pizza - the best we have eaten. Home made sticky date pudding! Friendly service, exceptional service. On our first visit we were celebrating my birthday and the birthday of our beloved elderly dog. They gave us a dish of cooked chicken for our dog on the house. Lovely people.

Serving pizza or curries, they're great!! Sometimes there is some great big name entertainment, Mental as Anything, Wendy Matthews. Such a social environment, great for a drink or a meal. Great location with the beach just across the road :)

Superb food, good service, friendly staff, beautiful location, the Beach House Cafe has the best gourmet pizzas and curries in the Southern Hemisphere. I would dine here every night if I could!

We came across this cafe whilst holidaying in SA over the Easter break. We had just had lunch at another place nearby in the same suburb and I really wanted a coffee, so we called into here.

The coffee was superb!!! Absolutely loved it, it was an organic coffee, brand is Monjava (never heard of it before!)

After seeing the menu of an interesting range of flavours for pizzas and curries, hubby and I had wished we came to this place for lunch instead!! Oh well next time we go to SA we will attend for lunch!!

From seeing the menu, the pizza prices range in price from $13 to $23.

Fantastic pizza, the service was quite average though, first of all they have no table service to order food but they have table service to order drinks? The waiter came 45 minutes after we sat down to ask if we wanted any drinks, one of our friends we were with as well ordered a gluten free pizza which they charge for a large size which it's a small pizza which was ok because gluten free are more expensive but then they also charged for gluten free pizza as well so they double charged without making them aware of that in the first place, food took 45 minutes to come out, the pizza was amazing but the service definitely needs to be worked on. Bad service but great pizza

Approximate cost: $20
