Decent fish and chips at good prices. Service is also ok. Not the best fish and chips in the west but still pretty damn good

Great little bakery that does the basics really well, as well as some very tasty middle eastern treats. Bit on the exxy side but well worth the cost.

Nice little pub, with good pub food an a nice atmosphere. Also one of the few places in Williamstown that regularly shows Rugby Union games on their tv, for which I'd rate them 6 stars if I could!

This review is for Military Simulations, Bentleigh VIC

Military Simulations (or Milsims as it's more commonly known) has been around for decades. I remember receiving mail order catalogues from them in my mid teens! So it was pleasing to discover that they are still in existence, and still offer a huge range of games for some of the best prices around. Even Warhammer stuff is 20% cheaper here than at Games Workshop. I purchased 2 battleforces for my kids here and saved myself over $60 by doing so. The store is a good size and it's jam packed full of both popular and obscure games. Staff are friendly and helpful. If you live in or near the area and are into tabletop, board, miniature or role playing games, then this is the store for you!

This review is for Junction Hotel, Newport VIC

Since its redevelopment the Junction Hotel is now a very cool place to have a couple of beers or some wine with friends. The wine room looks fantastic! They've done some good work in there, and the beer hall and beer garden flow together seamlessly and works well. The tap beer is all boutique, and they offer a tasting pallet for $12 (I think) where you get to sample small glasses of 4 different beers. Staff are friendly and know their stuff when it comes to the drinks. Every time I go there its getting busier and busier, which is testament to its growing popularity amongst the locals.

This review is for Cloud End Bed And Breakfast, Drummond North VIC

My family have been here a couple of times and to say that we love it would be a massive understatement. The hosts Keith and Judy are lovely - Keith even took me and my boys on a bit of a road trip to have a look at some of the old gold mining sites that dot the land around Cloud End, which was very interesting. The accommodation is very comfortable, with lots of chopped wood provided for the fire (which if you are staying in winter you'll definitely need!). They have lots of animals on the farm, from chooks to shetland ponies that are very cute and have lots of personality. There are also plenty of kangaroo's that visit the property, which is always a great sight to see. If fishing is your thing then the lake/pond is well stocked with fish. Very worthwhile stay and a great place to spend a weekend indulging in utter relaxation.

This review is for Comics R Us, Melbourne VIC

Massive range of comics and a fair range of collectables too. Whilst Minotaur is more diverse, Comics R Us specialise in comics and the selection is brilliant. If you're a comic fan you can't go wrong. It's not easy to find, but once you do find it you better take a packed lunch because its easy to lose yourself amongst the comics for hours.

This review is for Jazzy's Fish Chips And Milk Bar, Williamstown VIC

Good fish and chips and burgers. Pretty standard stuff but done well, in clean oil, and handy with eftpos too. It's also a milk bar so it's handy with drink selections, newspapers, magazines, crisps etc.

This review is for Gooramadda Olives, Gooramadda VIC

The best olives and olive oil you'll ever have, guaranteed. It's not easy to find, but if you're an olive lover you'd be mad not to make the effort.
