Our apartment has been completely transformed thanks to Teresa. We met 2 years ago now and I was immediately impressed with her communication, organisation and feel for materials. I soon arranged a site visit and provided a wish-list of improvements for, essentially, a complete makeover of our older, high-rise apartment. The job would touch every space - kitchen, bathroom, ensuite, laundry, both bedrooms, walk-in-robe, entry, living and dining areas.

Teresa responded with a fixed price plan that explained the process and what we'd get from this design phase. It included a full set of plan and elevation drawings, schedule of materials, fittings and samples. She was super patient with me going through everything in detail, querying and suggesting things. We had no fixed timeframe to do the build so could spend as long as we liked getting everything right on paper.

As a separate next phase, Teresa handled 3 rounds of quoting, with some design tweaks in between, and with 2 lots of 3 contractors. After round 3 we had the locked in design, brought the cost down, selected a contractor and set the start date. Just had get ready to vacate for 7 weeks and start sourcing the things we were to get ourselves.

Teresa also sourced some materials on our behalf, like the selected tiles and handles. I don't think she ever stopped refining the selections if she found something that would work that little bit better, and I quickly learned to trust her selections, they were always good as the end result shows.

Through the 3rd and final engagement for the build phase, Teresa provided oversight of the job and design liaison to the contractor for us. She had a number of site meetings, many phone calls and emails, and did some necessary design tweaks. Time and materials invoicing was clear and timely through this phase and even under budget. Problems and changes seemed to be minimised as the designs were so complete, but it still really helped smooth the work and address the things that inevitably come up.

Teresa clearly loves what she does and was a pleasure to work with. The whole experience, although a lot of work, was still very enjoyable and smoother than I expect for any building project. Could hardly have asked for more and we love our "new" place.
