My displeasure in this organization is being polite. In November I paid good hard earned money to “experience” the Gold class experience, what I got was anything but....I was left bruised and very upset and was not left with the “experience” that was advertised on their screens. I reported this to Village Cinema complaints dept. Only to be left with the treatment that "you got my money now go away".
I paid $200 for Gold Class 3D experience and received the experience from Hell. They kept my child waiting for an hour for her drink but her popcorn (which ironically makes one thirsty) comes out as soon as the lights dim...go figure. I not only pressed the call button for assistance but spoke with an attendant who was walking around, which made no difference. I fell on their steps when I had to leave the cinema to find my daughters drink. This is their advertised “Gold Class” experience???
When I contacted your "customer service" people only to find their service bland. All I wanted was the experience that was advertised as being offered and what I have received was the most disgusting treatment.
I want others to know of this experience that this is NOT Gold and that resolution was NOT given! I should have been offered reimbursement in the form of tickets my money paid for at the very least. Shame on you Village for ruining my families “Gold Class “ experience and not doing anything to fix this. This is NOT the experience I paid for and Villages lack of good Customer Service reflects on their business. When this was put on their Facebook page they tell you to send through when and where all this happened but then get no response for it at all.
Take ownership when you make your patrons experiences a NO CLASS experience.

Hope this helps those who are thinking of visiting Gold class!! Remeber there is power in numbers and if our messages are passed on we can stop others having bad experiences!!

Approximate cost: $250

I don't go to the cinemas much. But the family wanted to see a particular movie - so went to this complex.

First of all, I found it incredibly loud - there's game machines, all the shops come right up to the ticket window, people milling around. I could hardly hear what the attendant was saying.

Then we went to the snack bar. The prices here are awful. Please buy your own snacks and hide them before you go in.
Had to pay just under $20 for two drinks, popcorn and 2 ice creams and then the 4 of us shared.

The toilets are next before you walk up a huge hill to the row where the theatres actually are. I don't know how disabled people would do this. Unfortunately they don't clean the toilets much - paper and water everywhere.

Finally we reach our theatre - long walk to the end for kids carrying stuff.

Now, what I don't understand is ... why they made us choose seats and gave us numbers and yet only about 20 people were in the whole place. We could have sat anywhere because no one checks you ticket at the door of the cinema, only to see if you have one at the very entrance to "cinema row".

And then, there were people sitting in our numbered seats and we had to ask them to move!

During the movie - had to sit through a lot of ads first - one of the children wanted the toilet - so it's a long way back down that row, down the bank and back again. You miss 15 mins or so. Needs toilets inside as well. Plus he had trouble opening the big door.

The seats were not all that comfortable. I'm tall and sitting in my seat for 3 hours or so was rather wiggle-worthy by the end.

As soon as the movie is done they want you out and they are getting ready for the next session - but they don't clean up the mess very much. I like to read the credits and I got the feeling I was not welcome.

So, it was good, but not great. Next time I think I'll try a smaller type of place.

Luckily I had a voucher, cause the ticket prices were rather high.

Approximate cost: $Only go on Tuesdays - $11.50 per person. Other days much more.

I agree. These cinemas are diabolical. The toilets are very inconveinently placed. I went to Gold Class to see the Hobbit on Monday and, whereas the Gold Class in Crown looks a bit classy, this one looked like a RSL from the 70's. Poor toilets in there too.

I love the fact i live so close to a large cinema.
They always have all of the lastest release films.
they have gold class which is totally awesome.
its in a shopping centre so when your waiting around for your movie there is something to do.
its also next to cafe mambo so you can dine before the movies as well

Very happy with Villiage cinemas in Sunshine always good quality and with the villaige movie card you get discounts I think at the moment if you buy one of their $10 combos with the card you only pay $9. I love their popcorn!

it was a good cinema. the pop corn was good and the seating was good. The sound quality was adequate but the lighting in the foyer needs some attention as it was a little dim

Approximate cost: $40

Young employees can be a bit rude, the cinemas were as expected could have been a bit cleaner. Kids enjoyed the movie which was good would have liked kids booster chairs available it would have made the experience better.

Approximate cost: $15.00
