Went there last night. When we arrived there was this amazing band playing and the atmosphere was really cosy and great. The food was great (we were at a function out the back). A great variety of finger food. The wait staff couldn't have done more to make you enjoy the evening. Will be back for sure.

Lovely little old fashioned pub. Great meals, great atmosphere. IN summer there's the beer garden and in winter there's the fire :)

Love the food here, but it is not what I would call typical pub fare and the price reflects a slightly upmarket menu. Good atmosphere as well - no sign of the rough reputation it apparently had some years ago.

What a great pub this is. Food menu that is a cut above, plenty of space with lounge, dining room, big beergarden and best of all the live music - we take the kids with their drawing books and games, park ourselves in the dining room, order food and kick back and listen to some of Melbourne's best live music. Home by kids bedtime. Heaven!

We dropped in here one gorgeous sunny day when The Retreat was overflowing with people and discovered a local gem - cute beer garden and lovely laid-back atmosphere. Just tried the food here recently for the first time and really enjoyed it. Very reasonable prices too! This place is a fantastic and quieter alternative to The Retreat and may just become my new "backyard" in the warmer months.
