The trans as it's well known, has been around for ages. I've been going there since about 1996 and I've watched this place evolve. The owners are not sitting on their hands, instead making improvements constantly. They've catered for all types of people on all budgets and the $10 lunches continue to please, I had not been in a few months so decided to go back to have lunch and again I must say they have dressed the place up even more. There are not too many places you can get a lunch of the standard that they provide for the $10 mark. The service is excellent and it's a great place to go either on your own or as a group. Whether you go there on a day trip to the city or actually are one of the workers in there, it's worth a look. This place is for adults, so please don't take your kids!

A standard Brisbane pub with standard pub fare, this venue is often hired out for private events also. As an event venue, in the upstairs area, I really don't recommend it if you intend to have a number of people there. It heats up quickly, especially in the summer. So far as the food and drinks go, it's nothing special, really... though they do sometimes have specials. It's convenient to the transit centre and to the city though, so if location is a factor, that's a good selling point.

Close to work, great value lunch time meals and a great place to meet colleagues and friends. During the day you can enjoy a cosy lunch time meal or stay a bit longer for a short stroll to Suncorp Stadium for the footy on a Friday night. I highly recommend this venue to anyone.

We've got family in Brisbane, this sounds like a great place to use next time we're up there. Thanks for the review.

This place is truly amazing, it's a short walk from where I work and I go there for lunch alot, the $10 meals they have are great value and I enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.

I've spent an hour or more here waiting for a train. It's not a bad place to kill time. My only issue is location - if they were closer to the rest of the Transit Centre they might do a better trade.
