As a consequence of tearing a muscle in my leg, I was advised to have physiotherapy sessions to promote the healing process.

I found Mr Tony Day, who works out of the Westgate Health building to be of exceptional standard and aided greatly in my recovery.

As this service isn't covered by Medicare, it's a $55 initial consultation and then each further visit is $50. I believe I spent about $200 all up, but the use of my leg again was worth it.

I never felt rushed or pressured. His advice on gentle exercises was spot on, also his advice about the type of crutches to get. Each session included investigation of the healing of my injury, a chat about lifestyle and ways to get around the possible re-occurrence of the injury, and an extensive massage and workout. I went home each time feeling great.

He's also a very nice guy, good to chat to and very genuine. Apart from having pain at times, the whole experience was very pleasant and I would recommend his "magic hands" to any other patient.
