Very disappointed with one of the main doctors at this surgery. He had given both of my daughters a mirena procedure but he had cut the string too short for both of them. Now One of my daughters now has to have it removed surgically tomorrow via a specialist as it cannot be found and the other daughter had it removed very painfully. Its just not good enough im sure there will be others as well

I have been with the Surgery at Jerra since they opened. They have always been utterly professional and extremely caring. I can highly recommend Dr Ward who is personable, knowledgeable and for whom nothing is too difficult. There is no sense of being rushed out to meet a time limit and on the other side, I have never been kept waiting for longer than 5 minutes if that. Quite unusual for a Dr's surgery. I can highly recommend this practice and its wonderful drs, nurses and admin people, all very friendly and efficient.

Needed to see the Doctor as I had just been discharged from hospital, with ongoing treatment by the GP. The staff were great and fitted me in, even though I had no appointment (unlike other surgeries who couldn't fit me in for over 2 weeks - despite having letter from hspital). Dr Yates has overseen my progress for over three years and he and his staff are fantastic. They keep an eye on all the routine matters as well, so you dont' have to worry about anything.

Approximate cost: $96

I saw Dr Peter Cole after seeing another Doctor at a different local surgery and being sent home. My medical condition required 2 weeks off work, a number of scans and multiple visits back to see Dr Cole to check on my progress. He was kind, understanding, informative, showed genuine care for my well-being and had a beautiful bedside manner. I could not have been happier with the treatment i received here from him.

The admin staff are always friendly, greet you by your first name, will do what ever they can to assist you (i was even offered a bed to lay on while waiting for my appointment, i was that sick!!). They always hold the first appointments each day for emergency patients, to date i have never not been able to get in when i need.

When i walked into this center I immediately felt comfortable, this centre is a beautiful example of what all family medical practices should be and how they should be ran.

The best medical practice I have ever encountered, I will travel 40 minutes from Harrison just to get there because they always try their best to accommodate you and I have only had one occasson where they had no bookings available and I trust what these doctors say. My daughter has the full confidence in Dr Sue Ward in treating her asthma.

All the doctors at this practice are friendly and helpful. It feels like a genuine family practice. Also have a range of other services such as a nurse.

I rang the surgery one morning as my 4 year old had been up all night with a very painful ear. She had a really high temperature and was sobbing in agony. Even though they were fully booked, the receptionist was great about finding a time to squeeze us in.

Dr Yates was fantastic. He was so gentle when he spoke to my daughter and explained everything that he was doing. His bedside manner was just beautiful. He even checked her stuffed dog's ears too, just in case they might be sore. It put a smile on my daughter's face and put a lump in my throat. ;)

We couldn't be happier to find such a fantastic local GP.

I saw Dr Suzanne Ward at this surgery after being bothered by an intermittent minor problem for a few months, which I was fairly sure was probably nothing but decided it'd be best to get checked out. She said that while she was fairly certain that she knew what it was, and it was nothing to worry about, she'd organise a test to confirm her diagnosis. The test results proved her initial diagnosis to be correct (but a slightly different version of the same issue). I was really impressed that she confirmed the diagnosis, as she probably didn't have to, but it made me feel much better knowing for a fact what was wrong with me. Her helpful advice also allowed me to do what was necessary to reduce the severity of the issue as well.
So, if you're looking for a friendly, approachable female doctor who will give you good, practical advice, I'd strongly recommend Dr Ward.
