Plenty of things to see and do, a visit to the big banana will bring no regrets. Enjoy the water slides, toboggan rides, ice skating rink, candy shop and the big banana itself!!

This is definitely a must see place if you go to Coffs Harbour but I must admit you end up paying through the nose. Some of the merchadise on sale has nothing to do with bananas at all. having said that its worth the trip

Went to the gift shop. Great selection of Big Banana items and gifts which are Coffs Harbour related. Prices are standard for most, with a few items over priced and others cheap. But considering they are in business for the tourist dollar the prices seem fair.
We had morning tea at the cafe which we had banana splits. They were high priced but when we saw the size of the serve it was worth it.
In the cafe they also had banana food produce like jams, chutneys etc and the price was standard and tastes great

Great place to visit with your Children and some of the rides are great as well. Have some good souvenirs to take home and we always find the staff friendly and polite.

While I found the gift shop had a wide variety of things some of the prices are reasonable yet others seemed very steep, but then again it does go for those tourist dollars.
There are not as many activities now as in the past, and one thing I did take my children too was the Ice Rink. While the staff were very helpful and friendly the condition of the rink itself was not the best.
The kids loved the tobaggan rides but they were over way too quickly for the cost I think it was about $25-$30 for 10 rides on the tobaggan....that was over and done with very quickly.
As the weather was not the best when we were there we did not try the water slides, maybe next time.

The Big Banana is great for a photo-op but the cost of some of the other activities are a bit of a put-off. The multimedia banana tour presentation is pretty cool and very informative, but way over priced (in my opinion). The water slides are also pricey for what they are. Good for small kids but nothing more. And as they have session times rather than being open all day, you really can't make the most of money spent either. I have not tried the ice skating ring but would like to in the future. The toboggans are actually reasonably priced and fun for all. Good views from on top of the hill. Food in the cafe is ok - they could do to renovate so it looks less like a school cafeteria and more like a real attraction. Though not my cup-of-tea I am told by guests that the frozen bananas are worth a try.

Everyone knows the big banana. We had lunch here, it was pretty ordinary though. It was just hamburgers and nothing really special, although quite expensive. The service was good. Portions were very small. we ordered 2 large chips at $8.00, thinking that this would do the family but I could have fit them all in one hand. It would not have even been one potato. On a good note the attraction is very informative on anything banana related
