Awesome yum Cha lunch, clean , Friendly staff, and great food, must try the wasabi prawns. Their food is beautifully presented and taste as good as it looks.

The peking duck special is of good value and definitely worth trying. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Went back a few times already.

We called ahead and made a booking for 1pm Yum Cha on Sunday and when we arrived were glad we did, very busy for a relatively small place but we were greeted straight away and taken to our table. Shortly after the Yum Cha offerings started to flow via waiters & trays rather than the usual trolleys. We loved the food including Wasabi Prawns, various dumplings and my favourite of steamed pork buns. Staff were friendly, efficient and professional, we took our time eating and didn’t feel rushed even though the restaurant was busy. Hidden gem right in front of our faces – we will be back!

Excellent food and nice service. Best yum cha in Melbourne today! My wife (a Japanese lady) and I were really satisfied and found every dish to be much, much above other "so called" best yum cha restaurants. We will certainly be back.

Highly recommended restaurant, the food is much better than a lot of those pretend upmarket Chinese restaurant in Melbourne. Worth visiting and definitely should sample the Peking Duck

We enjoyed a very tasty and filling lunch here. The garlic prawns [on special] were extremely good value. Rice has to be ordered seperately, but we had so much left staff offered to pack it up for us to take home. [no room for a dessert sadly!]. Staff were very attentative. I would definately come here again next time I'm in Melbourne.

I was a bit dissapointed with this place. I went here only a week ago, we were quite early for dinner (about 6pm) so were the only ones there. The staff were just talking while we were waiting to be served and at the end they were trying to push us out (it's not like the place was full??). The food was ok, but not the best I've had.

My mother was a Russian born in Harbin in China. We have always eaten Chinese. After moving to Oakleigh their was a dearth of Chinese restaurants. With the opening of Tea Garden, this has now changed - no more trips to Box Hill or Waverley!
I took 20 of my staff there for dinner last Sunday night and all commented on the fine food. The chicken spareribs in the entree section are excellent, and don't go past the chilli prawns.

Very busy so booking is advised.

We love Yum Cha and were slightly disappointed after eating here. The service was slow, the variety was limited and was quite expensive. We were seated almost in the doorway and did not seem to get much food at all. The people we went with had a great experience there a few weeks before, but I don't really rate it...

Thought we'd try this new place after reading a review in The Age. It is quite nice and the food was of good quality but exceptional in any way. We were here for Yum Cha on Sunday and my biggest gripe is that the variety was pretty limited. A lot of the same things kept going around. I would not come here again for Yum Cha but I might try their regular menu next time.
