I engaged this man to have a look at my hot water system because the flow was to slow and it took long time to come out hot water. This man told me it would cost me $99 for call out including 45 minutes of services. Two men turned up. One man stayed outside clean the filter. One man went in my kitchen to play with two taps and went into toilet. He then went to front yard to turn the main water tap to full. According to him, the tap was only half full. They then told me that they need to check the temperature valve. They told me the valve is faulty because the cold water flows through it. They told me it would cost me $300 (including their call out fees) to replace the valve. I agreed. When the put on the new valve, I asked them to show me the difference. They could NOT. In fact, there was NOT any difference on the cold water flow between the old and new valve. So I asked them to put the old one back.

He then issued me an invoice for $198.00 saying that they have spent 1 hour and 15 minutes on site. I have paid them $99. Now this man [Redacted name] has kept sending me email for $99. What do you think? I am surprise to find so many good reviews on him on this site. Am I at odds?

The guys from SSP we’re great. They arrived exactly when they said they would, and fixed my problem very quickly. Friendly and polite - I have no hesitation recommending them.

Bought a gas stove for my elderly mother and need it to be installed and the old stove removed. SS&P were recommended by the seller, so we booked them. I received a call within a few hours to confirm the job, details & instal date. Being elderly she was nervous of people strangers entering her house. The installers were polite, on time, clean & show great patience’s while showing her how to operate the new stove. Cannot speak highly enough of the way you treated her. Once again thank you.

Darren and Anthony installed a gas cooktop yesterday and I was most impressed with their skill, professionalism and friendly demeanour. I highly recommend them.

Darren and Anthony are very professional and pleasant to deal with. Out solar HWS needed repair and they provided options and fantastic solution. It is clear that they care about the quality of their work. It is great to have a one stop shop for solar and plumbing.

We recently had our Solar Hot Water system serviced by SSP due to the recommendations on Word of Mouth and we couldn't be happier.

Anthony and Billy arrived early, were very professional and friendly and they answered any questions we asked and gave us a full understanding of how our system works.

They also looked at a kitchen mixer tap that was causing us some problems and gave us advice on how to fix the problem.

There is a valve on the hot water tank which is usually replaced every 5 years but even though our valve is 7 years old, there was never any sales pressure or suggestion of "it must be replaced now".
The guys checked it and noted that it is currently okay but may need replacing in the near future.

We would highly recommend this company based on the overall experience we had and it is only the 1st time we have used SSP but it won't be the last.

Great service from Anthony. We had a problem with a tap and had to turn the water off. Anthony was already on a big job but came on his way home and sorted out our problem,

Darren and Anthony provided excellent service, from initial suggestion for a heater to fit our "false" fireplace, to removal of existing heater, installation of new heater, and clean-up.
