This is where we go for date nights, so glad footscray is worthy of such a place. Food is to die for, like others have reviewed the steaks are the best. Now I know you can get away with cheap eats in footscray due to the many restaurants on barkly st etc, but sometimes it's great to treat yourself and this is what this place is, an absolute treat

As this is a trendy pub that prides themselves on their steaks we found our steaks didn't live up to their reputation especially for what is charged. Our steaks which were ordered medium rare came to our table blue, tough & full of sinew. The beers list however, is extensive with something for every palate. The highlight of our dining experience was our waiters extensive knowledge of the varied cuts of meat which are presented on the menu in French, rather disconcerting for the likes of us. He was honest, friendly & extremely helpful.

I have been heard about this place from so many people .. also, i have read so many review about this place.. its time for me to write a review about my experience dined at Station hotel..

They know how to satisfy their customers.. by delivering great service (very polite and professional).. provided good quality of food (cooked to the perfection).

The meat that i had was tender .. cooked as i ordered .. it was very delicious.

Hands down the best steak I have ever had. Lots of other stuff on the menu, but you just can't go past the steak. Comes served with hand cut chips which were fantastic, and a side salad. Unlike a lot of places you don't have to order these as extras - they come out on the plate! The pub is also pretty cool. Ive eaten at the station twice and can't wait to get back there.

A definite cut above the rest. Probably the best place to eat in footscray (and also the most expensive) They do amazing steaks, cooked to perfection. but also have a large menu of other choices. As others have said, looks can be deceiving with this pub - it has a lovely interior and offers a great 4experience.

Wow! For a humble Footscray pub, this place is certainly more than meets the eye! This is not your typical pub fare but is all the better for it. It's a modern Australian menu put together by a chef and team who really want to offer something diverse. A great selection of fresh seafood, a chicken liver parfait so whipped and creamy, salads etc, but the steak... I'm very specific about how I like my meat cooked (or otherwise, as I like it blue!) - this is the first restaurant where I've been asked if I still mind it cold. Awesome! No judgement or fear of under-cooking it - just happy to give the customer what they order. This is a special place with divine desserts to match. Pricier than a pub meal but with good reason. Exceptional quality and amazing meals.

A great steak is to be had at this pub. It is not your ordinary kind of pub, it's very upmarket & expect the bill to reflect that. They do a great meal though, something special. Gorgeous interiors, very elegant.

One of the best dining experiences ever! The staff were extremely friendly, the food was absolutely delicious and the overall hotel had a great atmosphere.
These guys specialize in steak, and steak is certainly what they do best, the best steak I've ever had came from here.
