I have visited this particular store on many occasions & each time I am more happy than my previous visit. The staff are very friendly, attentive & more than helpful. I recently had to exchange an item however, had not kept receipt. The manager was more than happy to give me credit to spend in store.

I was most impressed as I walked in without an appointment and she fit me in straight away. It is a very small but clean salon where they offer manicures, pedicures and waxing. The lady was friendly, made me feel very comfortable and it was a fantastic job. I would definitely recommend this place.

Such a lovely building with history situated on beautiful parklands,The Convent is truly worth a visit. From the moment you enter the aroma of coffee greets you. There is a lovely little area with tables to enjoy a bite to eat and a coffee.
There is a huge selection ranging from artwork to clothes and everything inbetween. A perfect place to pick up that special gift for that someone special.
Situated in a perfect location right beside Southern Cross station this DFO is rather disappointing and more like a shopping mall. I feel there are better & bigger bargains to be had elsewhere and apart from perhaps grabbing a coffee & a bite to eat I would give this place a miss if you are heading to Melbourne.
We have recently started visiting the Footscray market and there is a great selection of fruit & vergertable stalls to choose from & if it's something weird & wonderful you are after you will find it here. Situated right near the station this is a perfect place to do the grocery shopping. If it's fish & seafood you are after this market is the place for you.
The aromas wafting from this shop hit me every time. Their chicken is moist & succulent with crispy skin and amazing stuffing & the chips super crunchy. I was most impressed as one day I went for a long power walk on an extremely hot day, I had no money on me so popped in to this shop & they gave me a bottle of water & said I could pay later. This impressed me no end. They are more than happy to cut up the chicken & I feel I always leave with extra chips.

A small & busy little bottleshop with a great selection of wines to choose from that can be tricky to find in mainstream stores. The gentleman behind the counter definitely knows his wines and is more than happy to assist.

I remember going to this zoo as a child, with my children and also with them now being adults. They have attended many a school excursion here & alwayas had an amazing day. I feel the map is easy to read, there are wheelchairs, prams for hire, plenty of eating places & lovely park areas if you opt to bring your own food. The zoo also offers twilight nights & has various bands playing from time to time. A great day to be had for the whole family.
I catch the 232 bus from Altona North to the city Mon-Fri to work. I always get a seat unlike on the train and sometimes the bus drivers like to have a chat. It can be rather irritating though when the bus departs from the stop a couple of minutes early which has known to happen before. I find this time rather peaceful before my day commences & I put my make-up on too, something harder to do on the train.

Located opposite the Bourke St mall this is my favourite health food shop as it's quite intimate with professional and helpful staff. They stock a wide variety of supplements, vitamins, oils, creams, in fact the works. If they do not have what you are after in stock they will order it in. I do find compared to other health foods shops this one may be on the pricy side however, they do have specials from time to time and 10% discount Wednesdays.
