Wow! What a difference a good roof makes! Not only to the look of the house but to the feel and the market value! As a historian, I was pretty attached to my tiled roof, but after more than 60 years they were in dire need of replacement. Having said that, Mat suggested that I consider a Colourbond roof because it is more energy efficient and even quieter in storms. I wasn't sold but my husband was. Mat and his crew were uber-professional. They got stuck in early every morning and even cleaned up after their work. And what work! How beautiful is my new roof! The day after it was put in we had torrential wind and rain. With the old tiled roof I would have heard every howl and whistle of the wind and every drop of rain, but I didn't even know it was raining! It was so quiet. AND--even though it's winter, we haven't had our heater on since the new roof went on! BUT it's Mat's craftsmanship that made the roof reno a success to me. His work is quality and our home is the better for it. Thank you Mat and crew! YOU'RE THE BEST ROOFER IN THE SHIRE--PROBABLY NSW AND AUSTRALIA!
