I had my dog accessed for his teeth and decided to have the procedure for his dental care. The staff were fabulous and my dog has completely recovered from his medical condition.

we were going to another vets and were fed up with the non personal treatment so we looked around and found the southern animal hosp which was a bit further to travel but well worth it.

A couple of years ago, my cat was terminally ill, and the staff at the southern animal hospital were brilliant, they understand that strong bond you have with your pets! I was very impressed with the care and support they showed my cat and me, so much so that when I got Buster (a domestic short hair cat) I made sure they became his regular vet. Buster, who can be a pain when you visit the vet, now doesn't mind going to them and doesn't whine all the way there like he used too. They are very friendly and helpful! They have also offered advice over the phone when I wasn't sure if I needed to take my cat to the vet or not.

had to visit recently when my 6 month old am staff puppy had a reaction to a bee sting. Embarrassingly i was quite hysterical but the staff were very supportive and ensured i was calm and that Akira was ok. we didn't have to wait long and she was feeling better in a matter of minutes. they even followed up with a phone call a couple of days later. it is a relief to have people so caring to look after my "psuedo baby".

I love taking my dogs there. Very friendly service and good medical advice and treatment. The reception staff always greet your animals and give them a pat and sometimes a treat. When our puppy had to be put down they sent us a sympothy card with a magnet.

we too had a sad experience with this veterinary hospital. they were more interested in money talk then our beloved dog. ( in which we had to have put down.). was a very sad day for our children

We have been using this veterinary clinic for a number of years. They are expensive, but we consider we get the best treatment for our much loved dogs.

We had an emergency situation with our cat and rushed in for surgery. Staff were a bit vague, and despite the pending emergency, we were pressured into discussing payment details and assuring the counter staff we were able to pay for the operation before they began treatment on the cat, which upset us. Far more expensive and far less professional than many Southern vets, we have not been back. They are only good for emergencies.

The 24 hour service is extremely handy and was important when my dog was showing symptoms that were worrying. Albeit I expected to have to pay a lot to see a vet at night, when taking her once during the day as unable to get into our regular vet the cost was a lot more than I would normally pay. They weren't very personal, but they were polite and did the job necessary.

I love my dog very much, and these guys really treated her with he care and consideration that she deserves. The service is quick, and they are open late which helps for a working family. The price is reasonable, and they have great stock in the store to cover any other things my dog might need. The medication is on hand, and they make sure I understand what I need to do before I leave the Surgery.. Thanks guys for the most excellent treatment of my dog :)
