In close to one and a half years I have found Remax Peninsula to be lacking in their management of rental property specifically in relation to handling of maitenance issues.

From having to contact tradespeople myself as opposed to the agency doing so (what they are paid to do) to a three month wait for a serious matter to be attended to.

E.G. a garage door was reported as not working in Feb 2011 and in May 2011 the matter was still not addressed and only upon showing my extreme displeasure @ this did anything occur.

Approximate cost: $350

We are very sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with our service. We pride ourselves on the high level of service and communication that we offer to both property owners and tenants alike.

We do not believe that the example that you have provided regarding maintenance is a true representation of our service as the issues were reliant upon tradespeople employed by the builder of the property. Also, our records show that a repairman attended shortly after you reported the maintenance to repair the air conditioner and garage door. The repairman rectified the problem with the air conditioner; but was told that the problem with the garage door was not occurring at that time. Once our office was informed that the problem was still occurring, it was repaired within a matter of hours.

Now that there are no outstanding issues, we hope to continue our professional relationship into the future.

The individual who repaired the air conditioning was from a company specifically relating to Air-Con and neither had any reason nor capacity to ask about the Garage Door. You dropped the ball - twice. Your representations on how these matters were handled is what is false. Your practices are low quality and need to be improved on greatly before I would ever retract my views on your company.

This business is now over to being a Ray White in Redcliffe and nothing has changed - still inept and unprofessional. AVOID like the plague.
