I find it a very uncomfortable experience to leave bad feedback on a business, however I simply must in this instance. As a male customer who has regular massages, I was keen to find somewhere a little closer to home than my regular massage therapist so I booked in. Now let me be frank, The therapist is a lovely person and very friendly, however the massage itself left a lot to be desired. Based on my experience, my best guess is that male customers are perhaps not normally catered for? I booked in for a 90 minute relaxation massage after a very difficult week with family health problems and I left even more stressed out than before simply because the experience was so uncomfortable. The massage lasted 60 minutes, not 90, which is fine and likely was a miscommunication. However, it consisted of my neck, back, lower legs and the far outside of my hamstrings only. This in particular is what made me think the issue was my gender, because I know of no massage therapist who omit the quads, glutes, and middle part of the hamstrings in any normal massage. Like I said, it is nothing against the therapist personally and I'd be very curious to know if I'm right about what the problem was that particular day. I presented well groomed and I did not even hint at seeing this as anything more than a professional service. Unfortunately I know a lot of men give the rest of us a bad name. If I'm right, I wish they had simply stated on the phone that they offer these services to female clients only.

Have been here for massage, facial and spray tanning and I must say she's the best! Beautiful little studio. She's really friendly and knows her stuff. She's been in the industry for years. Uses a lot of organic products. Prices are fantastic. You'll love it!

I would first like to say that i know exactly who this review is from as i had stopped new client massages at the time you made your booking as i was pregnant and not taking on anymore massages, you were massaged by the massage therapist who i used to replace me who has worked for me for 8 years. She is a well respected massage therapist who has at least 40% of her clientele (at her other practice) are male so she does massage men. As stated at the time of booking your massage we do relaxation massage not remedial massage and we dont offer a 90 min massages you had booked for a 60 min massage and i have spoken to the therapist and read her notes on the treatment she offered you and she asked you which areas you wanted worked on, you asked for you back neck and shoulders. She had finished you massage on the areas you stated and you then proceeded to ask for more massage you then asked for your legs to be massaged. So she did massage your legs but she had already gone over the 60 min mark and had other bookings, she worked on your legs the best she could for 10-15 mins as she was already over time but wanted to help you out, we allow 1 hour and a half appointment spots for first time clients (if your an hour massage booking....) and that includes your massage time and half hour extra for filling out the form asking questions and getting changed with out feeling rushed. You were only charged for the hour appointment, and any other practice would have said -no we are out of time or made you pay for the extra time. Also if you felt like you didn't enjoy your experience why did you ask her what days is she working as you will be back? You said you left feeling more stressed. Its a shame you seem to have been in a bad head space at that point in time and its very fustrating to me that you have taking it out on one of my therapists and my business.
