The staff were friendly although it took speaking to several people to get someone who new a little about what I was buying. The price was reasonable and the overall experience was ok.

It was a fairly good experience with a satisfactory service, although prices are standard with no real specials. The Rebel quality is consistent throughout most shops so it was expected to find a standard level of qualit.

We recently went to Rebel Sport at Southland to buy a small plastic thing that hangs on a basketball ring to return the ball to you. We found it on the rack and took one of the 10 or so they had in stock. We walked to the front counter and tried to buy it and the cashier couldn't find it on the computer. She called someone in the dept and we waited, and we waited. After 10 mins we said we'll just duck into Big W while you find the price.

Upon returning from Big W nearly 20 mins later, they still didn't have a price. Finally I got the attention of the youngish manager who didn't seem to think it was too much of a problem that we'd waited over half an hour for a price on a $30 item. He finally got a price but then couldn't work out how to enter it manually into the computer. Finally he got it in, in some round about way and we were able to leave the store.

There wasn't even really an apology from the manager about the inconvenience and certainly no mention of a minor discount to compensate us for all the mucking around.
