Usually has a rep for one of the more professional companies, experience was good and worth returning prices a little higher than most, good direct flights with in flight entertainment and reasonable food.

Very good planes, and marketing... However don't ever expect anything human! not a favor, not an exception, you will be always treated as catle.... You could have you seat taken, your legs broken, and you never ever will receive an upgrade... (every other airline upgrades you, when there is a problem.... but not qantas) The frequent Flyer program, will advance to silver, but every year put you back to bronze if you don't fly at least 5 times a year.... one of the worsts frequent flyer programmes in the world...

Anytime a plane takes me to my destination is always a fantastic outcome, in my opinion. I will only fly Qantas as their service and safety record is excellent. At times I have missed connections through delays, but Qantas always rectify the situation with no out of pocket expenses. I am a member of the Qantas Club and love the service and amenities in their lounges around the world. I feel the meals are improving and enjoy the inflight entertainment. The cabin crew are always friendly and very helpful. I have not had a bad experience with Qantas and I am a true frequent flyer.

terrible customer service. Was siting at an airport for over 5hours after mechanical problems. Arrived at airport with flight delayed for an hour. no text message like others send. when asked why the delay was told just behind schedule . Then when we were finally able to board flight 3 hours later where we sat and waited an hour and for last flight for the night to leave for all airlines were then told to unboard the plane. So the only option we were left was to sit and wait. Was then informed it was mechanical issues and not sure how long the wait would be. Finally able to board flight in total five hours late. Arriving at destination five hours late with no refund or even part refund for the wait and lyed to about the reon for delay until all planes had left and no choice left but to catch Qantas.

I have been flying Qantas for 30 years. Talking about loyalty :). I trust them as the safest airlines in the world. Price are terrific, most of the time, they are the cheapest on the market anyway. and their frequent flyer program is certainly worth it.

I have booked a family holiday to Hong Kong taking two small children. We carefully booked our flights months ago to get on day flights. Today I was looking onto how we go about getting our boarding cards online and discovered that they changed our return flight to a night flight (not an option we wanted at all). There was no notification by them of this change at all! Qantas have our correct email addresses and phone numbers, but we got nothing. I will now try to avoid flying with them again, but price and reward schemes are always a consideration. I cannot trust them to honour a 'confirmed' booking. Tip- keep checking your confirmed booking because they could go ahead and change it on you and you may not be told until very close to departure and could be left with no option other than to take a flight at a time NOT of your preference! Luckily we discoved this with plenty of time and managed to get on a day flight for the next day. Just wished they told us. I that too much to ask in computerised world?

I've been flying with Qantas for over 10 years. I'm happy to pay that little bit extra. I'm supporting something that is Australian.
Other airlines may be cheaper but you still have to pay for snacks and sometimes entertainment.
I found on domestic flights, regardless of the distance, they provide you with a snack (usually cake/biscuits and a drink).

I however think it's a little rude that they've decided to charge people for requesting the emergency exit seats. I'm quite tall and often feel cramped

Approximate cost: $90+

Australia's preferred airline? Probably. It's definitely mine, and if price wasn't an issue I'd probably fly Qantas much more often than not. For long distance flights it's always my first choice, and I know I'll feel as comfortable and as safe as possible when I travel Qantas.

The first time I traveled from Melbourne to Adelaide and the journey was very good. The service was great. I always had people making sure I was comfortable and satisfied. They were friendly and reliable. The journey was smooth and landing was very well accomplished.
