We walked in and got served straight away, we ordered a dinner pack and wanted to change one of the things and they did that without any hesitation, and we were able to pay by eft which is a bonus, we walked across the road in the meantime and we were gone about 10 min by the time we got back it was ready, the fish, chips, scallops crab sticks were absolutly delishious, the best fish and chips i have ever had and it didnt feel greasy.

This is a tiny little shop squeezed in between a real estate agent and a clothes shop, and Burger Edge is on the corner, you could easily miss it.

One of the family members didn't want pizza that the others had, so we came here to get some chips, potato cakes and dim sims. Can't speak for the fish, but I think it was all a little over priced (tourist area mark up). The order we got was okay, if a little on the small side of serving. They were busy but serving person was quite pleasant.

We went and sat at the tables along the Esplanade to eat, and ended up giving some to the seagulls. The potato cakes were fine and the rest was quite okay, but I suppose I was expecting a seaside place to be somehow a little more amazing.

But it was hot and filling and what was expected of your normal fish and chip products. I think I like my own fish and chip places back home better, though.

Approximate cost: $Under $10

I agree mate, this place just keeps going downhill in recent years. Sad but true...

I went with friends while on holidays in Cowes. We chose this place as the other fish and chip shops were very busy and we didn't want to wait. I wanted to order a pack but could only have fried fish, not grilled with a pack (?!) so I had to order menu items separately which was not at all economical. The girl who served me was also a bit rude about it.
Once we had our food we discovered it was very poor quality. The fish looked strange and nothing tasted very good. I'm not sure if the calamari rings were actual calamari as they were a very odd texture. One of my friends threw his food in the bin and went to buy pizza as it was verging on inedible.
