I stayed here on my most recent trip to Coober Pedy for work reasons. My room was better than expected, comfortable bed, fairly spacious and quite clean. The air conditioner was working hard and kept me cool - it was 47 degrees outside. They let me into my room early and I found the price reasonable at $120 per night.

My husband and I spent 2 nights at this place (standard double) last summer and really enjoyed our stay.

PROS:
• Location
• Friendly and helpful staff
• Bedroom and bathroom were clean and comfortable
• Quiet nights

CONS:
• rather expensive

I would recommend it just because it is up to the standard and facilities I would expect for the price in such a remote location. Don't forget to bring plenty of water if you visit Coober Pedy in summer.
