River Esplanade Motel is located on the Esplanade of Mooloolaba. The room is pretty basic, but clean and welcoming. Onsite parking is available. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They're offering Foxtel :)
I would also recommend this motel for its top location.
All up, you get great value for your money there.

Spring Hill Terraces is located within 1.5 km of the Brisbane CBD (20 minutes walk). The rooms are quite small, but clean. Unfortunately there is no lift and also no insect window screen. Onsite parking is available.
I would recommend this motel since you'll get good value for your money there.

The Motel is located on Townsville's The Strand close to beach. Onsite parking is available. Bathroom and Bedroom are nice and welcoming. We had a very enjoyable stay, although the bathroom is very small and we experienced some crawling visitors (ants).
All up, I would definitely recommend this motel to others since you'll get good value for your money there.

This review is for Transit Cocktail Lounge, Melbourne VIC

Transit is a good location to crab some food (light supper and tappas) and an awesome late night venue located on the second level of Transport Hotel in Federation Square.
There is a large indoor area with a smaller dance floor and also a large terrace outside.
Staff is attentive and friendly and the ambience is great. They offer exquisite cocktails there - pricey, but well worth it.
What makes it very special to me is that Transit is featuring a live band. So if you are out for dancing all night long and like jazz music, go ahead and hit this place!

Approximate cost: $cocktails from AUD 18

I personally found this side through looking for some reviews about a small business in Melbourne - had never heard about WOMO before, but it popped up on google, so I gave it a shot. I've been using WOMO since may, and already consider this webside as one of the, if not the best review platform online. If you share your information and experiences, you'll not only do something useful for the community, you'll also receive some nice rewards. I'm using WOMO on a regular basis and I always find some new businesses I haven't known so far.

A friend of mine and I celebrated her birthday there. I have to admit that I was deeply impressed by the deliciousness of their asian inspired dishes. Great ambience and top class staff. The prices are what I would expect for the kind of service. I would strongly recommend this place, it's on the pricier side though.

I had a smoked salmon bagel and a cup of coffee there. Staff was friendly and quickly working. The food was what I expected for the price. I would recommend this place because of its lovely coffee designs.

This review is for Opal Inn, Coober Pedy SA

My husband and I spent 2 nights at this place (standard double) last summer and really enjoyed our stay.

PROS:
• Location
• Friendly and helpful staff
• Bedroom and bathroom were clean and comfortable
• Quiet nights

CONS:
• rather expensive

I would recommend it just because it is up to the standard and facilities I would expect for the price in such a remote location. Don't forget to bring plenty of water if you visit Coober Pedy in summer.

Approximate cost: $150 AUD

This review is for Bluestone Motor Inn, TENNANT CREEK NT

My husband and I spent one night at this place last summer.

PRO:
• Car parking availability in front of the room
• Friendly and helpful staff
• Ironing equipment

CON:
• The usual creepy-crawlies you have to struggle with out in the middle of nowhere (we really had a lot of crickets and spiders in the room).
• Our room was pretty small

All up, I would recommend it just because it is up to the standard and facilities I would expect for the price in such a remote location.

This review is for Cooks Cottage, East Melbourne VIC

verified email - 18 Jun 2012

Cooks Cottage (located in the Fitzroy Gardens in East Melbourne) is an interesting historic place to visit and is said to be the original house that belonged to Captain Cook's parents. You could have a look inside the building as well, but don't be too excited about it. It is tiny and smelling. I would rather recommend to wander around in the lovely gardens. It's well worth to spend a couple of hours anyway!
