We had a seafood platter. The crab was washed in fresh soapy water. When questioned the waiter Peter. All sorts of excuses were made. Then no serve after that. Nicks has been around for over 20 years so surly they no how to wash and serve fresh seafood.
Even the father and son were both in the restaurant at the time did nothing

Do not be put off by how busy this place gets or looks as its a real reflection of the quality of the food here. Brilliant and scenic location, friendly staff, pricing reflects quality, and is a place id more recommend ofr couples and singles, not families.
Try the lobster mornay or the seafood platter or the oyster killpatrick.

Nick's Seafood is a fabulous restaurant in Cockle Bay. It is in a beautiful location, and is definitely a special occasion restaurant. My family and I came here yesterday for my nephew's birthday after taking him to the aquarium, we had a really nice time. The food was outstanding, and my nephew was very pleased with the children's menu. The service was good also, but they could benefit by putting a couple more wait staff on. We will definitely be eating here again, and I would easily recommend this restaurant to others.

Really love Nick's. I can't count how many times we have eaten here, and we have never been disappointed, whether midweek dinner, weekend lunch or dinner. Seafood platter is amazing and everything is so fresh. Waitstaff are attentive but not in your face, which I like. The kids love coming here too, which is always a bonus. Im a great fan of their Raspberry Mojito! Previous reviewer commented that the restaurant is always full of people. I agree... We went @1month ago on a Wed night, during Sydney's BIG WET, and were happy to see they were quite busy.

My husband and I often go here for our romantic night outs although we have taken the kids once before, and they accommodated them.

We love it, the food is fresh, the atmosphere is very vibrant and the restaurant is always full of people.

The service is great really friendly and they always check on you. It's in a great location, perfect view.

An impressive date location if they're worth the money, the best lobster i've ever eaten. The service is A grade, i've been a few times whilst in Sydney visiting family and this is always on my to do list. Expensive, but you really do get what you pay for

My boss takes us for lunch here to say thanks, the food is phenomenal. Everything is fresh and beautifully presented. The waiters are friendly and attentive and the view is amazing - looking right out onto the water. It is expensive but you are paying for an excellent dining experience. I would recommend to anyone.
