Lovely! Always say hello when I’m at the market. Ponies are very well looked after and cared for. Staff are very sweet and have a very great care and love for their ponies.

It was quite a hot day 27 degrees and the ponies were left standing all day with no water anywhere near them. Just looking at each of them and while they were walking with kids riding them, they didn’t look very happy at all. Their heads were down and it was so hot they were probably so tired from standing and walking all day. Spend your money elsewhere and do your research before giving money to companies who use animals to entertain people. I’m sure if they had a choice they wouldn’t want to walk around in the heat all day with kids sitting on them.

Loved it for children. I don't expect anything of the staff except be knowledgeable about horses and what they are doing. Very cheap. Great value. Children can learn balance and about listening, horses, ponies. They provide helmet, it's very mellow.

Absolutely awful. All the staff act as if they would rather die than be there. Completely unenjoyable and a total waste of money.
The $5 'pony ride' involved a sad looking pony being dragged along in the mud by a horrible employee for all of one minute.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Approximate cost: $5

Awful.
The staff are so miserable. The girl who led the pony around for our two year would not make eye contact or speak. It was comparable to a funeral march.
Do not spend your money on this. Go for a second train ride instead.
1 star, but only because it is a required field.

We saw them at Eltham miniature train on March 12th. It was a hot day, the ponies were in the sun and had no water. When my mum told them to give them water the person there was quite rude and said we give them water and they kick it over.
Every single staff member there appeared rude and barely made eye contact and felt as if they didn't want to be there. I was standing there for ages with no interaction to say if I was interested. I had to ask if my daughter was too little to go on it. None of the staff said hello or goodbye and barely any interaction took place.
It cost $5 and lasted maybe 2 minutes.
I only gave two stars, those stars are for the ponies. I'd give no stars to the staff. Should be ashamed of yourself. Give them water and brush them. They have feelings and rights!

My son has been on these ponies on several occasions when visiting Eltham Miniature Railway on Sundays. He absolutely loves pony rides so its an extra special treat going on train ride followed by pony ride.

The staff take great care with the young kids ensuring they are fitted correctly with a helmet and sat down comfortably on the horse. My son is quite confident sitting on horsey, but I noticed other kids were little hesitant and I was pleased to see the staff making the kid comfortable and encouraging them to pat the pony.

There is a walking track which goes for about 10 or so minutes (sorry i didn't time it) and its a gentle flat path which the staff lead the horse with child on the pony. One of the parents are welcome to walk along.

Its definitely a highlight for us parents seeing our son having so much fun.

Thank you to the staff and management for giving my child such a great experience.
