Mr. Plank is an amazing surgeon. He’s easy to talk to, compassionate and really listens to your concerns—however trivial they may sound. As soon as I met him I felt at ease, and even later, after the operation, I knew he’d gone above and beyond to ensure everything was in order, that I would have received the correct hip implant for my severe nickel allergy. His staff was equally efficient, caring and taking their time to explain the procedure, therefore ensuring I had a smooth prep, surgery and follow-up. Someone nervous like, suffering from so called White Coat Syndrome I’m glad to have come across Mr. Plank. My faith in doctors and the medical profession in general has been restored.

After having a knee replacement with another surgeon (that didn't work out), Paul Plank then did an arthroscope and Manipulation Under Anaesthetic the following year. Then this year he took out the 1st knee replacement that hadn't worked (as I could hardly bend my knee) that the 1st surgeon had put in and put another one in. Since this 2nd replacement that Paul re-did I have been able to bend my knee nearly as good as when I was in my early teens. I'm now 50. His professional manner is second to none. He came and spoke to me before surgery to tell me everything that he was going to be doing in the surgery and then each day afterwards until I went home. My follow-up appointment after surgery went so well that he doesn't want to see me for another year. Couldn't recommend Paul anymore. He is a fantastic doctor and person in general. Keep up the great work Paul.

I recently had Paul Plank do an Arthroscope and MUA on my knee after having a Total Knee Replacement last year (performed by another surgeon) which didn't heal properly. When I saw him in his rooms he told me that my problem was most likely scar tissue from the Replacement last year and explained everything that would be done in simple terms (not doctor talk) that I could understand.

On the day of the operation he came and saw me before surgery to see how I was going and then afterwards each morning until I went home to see if I had had any problems or any questions for him. His bedside manner is one of the best I've had from any surgeon (and believe me I have had a few surgeries over the years).

So if you have an orthopaedic problem that needs surgery I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Paul Plank to anyone.

Recently, Mr Plank and his surgical team replaced my painfully disintegrated hip. Although I was very nervous, Paul was calmly reassuring, friendly and professional throughout consultations, during the lead up to surgery and post operatively. I have no hesitation in recommending Paul as a surgeon and I thank him for his kind and professional approach and attitude. My hip continues to heal and life is pain free. Thank you, Mr Plank.

I required two Hip Replacements and had been told they were inoperative by another surgeon. I had been immobile and walking with crutches for over a year... and in excruciating pain.
