Came in here during the week and sampled their gelati. My wife and I enjoyed sitting out in the verandah while we enjoyed our treat. Will be returning (quite often I think)

As it was a sunny day my husband and I went for a walk and stopped at this Cafe for a coffee. The coffee was nice and we were able to sit in the verandah area. They have a lunch and dinner menu too. However we have not eaten here recently so can not comment on that. Have heard varying reports but it always seems busy.

Really like their pizzas, very generous with the toppings

Such a lovely cafe with an extensive menu, always makes it difficult to decide what to order. My friend and I decided to share a couple of starters and then shared the Montagna Pizza, absolutely delish. The Pulled Pork burger was tempting but I am glad we went with the pizza, fresh generous toppings, perfectly cooked.

A great cafe for a meal or just a coffee.

They have a great lunch menu with main courses at only $12.00. The beef schnitzel was large and well cooked and the chips were wonderful!!! The cafe is comfortable and in a good position for easy parking. The staff are very friendly too.

Approximate cost: $12.00

Came in here for a coffee before tackling the supermarket shopping. Have been noticing that this cafe has been getting quite a bit busier lately. Coffee was good and also noticed that they have lunch time specials deals around the 12 dollar mark. Must have lunch here soon

Came here with my partner the other weekend for breakfast. It was a lovely sunny day so we dine outside. I ordered an ice coffee and a egg benedict, my partner order a flat white and the trio dips entree.
We were advised that they usually don't serve lunch/dinner menu's during breakfast but they made it an exception this time. We were pleased at how flexible the staff there was.
My eggs benedict were average. The egg was no longer runny but just hard boiled egg sitting on top of my bread. The dips were decent as expected.
The atmosphere was welcoming, parking was easy to find. Food wasn't too expensive.
Overall 3 stars out of 5 for me :)

Approximate cost: $avg

I went here yesterday for brunch with my friend and realised that I had actually been here maybe 5 or 6 months ago and honestly didn't think very much of it back then, but after reading the lastest review I decided to give them another go and am glad that I did. As we were a bit late for the breakfast (I wanted to try the spicy chorizo egg omelette) we both decided to try the "Montagna" Burger which I have to say was absolutely delicious and looked fabulous - well presented. We had trouble deciding between the burgers or sharing a pizza. But I realised they have a special on tuesdays "buy one 12" pizza get one free" (they are around $16.90) so thought it would be best to wait for a tuesday and try them out then. I found the service to be very quick and they were all quite friendly, we really enjoyed ourselves. I think I will be doing my shopping here more often. After having a great brunch yesterday they are back on my recommend you try list. Definitely will be returning for their pizzas!

Being near the roundabout Montagna is in the heart of Blackwood and a great location for a quick coffee or meal before embarking on the more boring task of doing the weekly shop in the nearby Woolies or Coles.
We stopped in for breakfast this morning and chose one of the tables in the outdoor eating area. I ordered the Bacon & Eggs while my husband ordered "The Hills". Mine was what you would expect and was good value at $9. My husband's was not much dearer at $11 and was just as large. Definitely enough to fuel up for the day. "The Hills" is a little different from the standard breakfast fare consisting of scrambled eggs with diced, spicy chorizo and a little capsicum for colour. Both were yummy and so was the coffee. This spot has been a favourite of ours since they first opened as Rimini's and it's good to see that the change of name and ownership hasn't affected the quality or value of the meals here. I'd definitely recommend it to family and friends.

This Cafe sounds great. The scrambled eggs with diced spicy chorizo with capsicum - yummo! Thanks for reviewing, my husband and I will have to check this out.

We visited here with friends to have a 6 weekly coffee catch up. A fairly large area with plenty of good seating area. Our mugs of coffee were very nice and we sat for a long time talking. Situated in the Woolworths shopping area on the corner of the parking area and the road but it is well enclosed.

Had a nice menu so may go back and try that. Think it changed management a year or so ago.

I tried this cafe a few months ago with a friend and we really didn't think that much of it. Reading other reviews here, I can see quite a few agree. I am not sure as to whether we will give them another go. Will wait and see if there are more reviews on this cafe.

I agree with other reviewers who have described this cafe as 'inconsistent'. It has changed owners and names (rimini's, rocco's, montagna) several times in recent years and while it was just okay in its previous versions it is now less than satisfactory in my opinion. The quality of the food in inconsistent - sometimes nice, other times it arrives cold and bland. The price is reasonably expensive for the quality and even the prices of extras like cream on beverages have varied depending on who is serving. However, the biggest problem is customer service. The staff are rude and arrogant in my opinion. It takes a long time for food to be delivered. I would not recommend this cafe. There are plenty of other cafes in Blackwood that offer much more reliable and positive experiences.
