Cant go wrong with Mecca. It can be very price but the quality of the make up is so much better then other brands. I love the service and advice they have.

This review is for Mecca Melbourne Central AND Myer Store as I cannot find a separate one for the Melb Central Store. I love them both! Mecca is my most favourite store in the world. It really is my 'Mecca' for all of my favourite things. The little shopping baskets they give you are a cute touch, and the staff are always so friendly and chatty (But not too chatty they scare you off!) They're well knowledged too, which helps when you're deciding between which product would be best for your skin. They always work hard to ensure Mecca prices are competative, and comparable to international pricing / suiting the Australian market.

I love this place, make up artists will try a product on you before you buy so it is very handy. They stock top quality cosmetics and are very knowledgable. They also d fab makeovers!

A must visit place if you are into cosmetics and skin care and boutique fragrance. Great selections of niche and hard to find brands. A bit expensive though. Must try if you are in store:
Nars orgasm (blush), Carnal Flower by Frederic Malle (a boutique perfume created by the famous perfumer Dominique Ropion - most beautiful smell of tuberose ever). For summer fragrance, I love Byredo Gypsy water (top layer of sweet lemon and dry down of warm vanilla and sandalwood). And many more of other great perfumes that will suit anyone's taste.

I was given a gift voucher for Mecca and I've been putting off using it as I'm pretty clueless about that kind of stuff and they stock loads of different posh products and brands so I had no idea where to start. They were busy and I had to wait a bit to be seen but they were really lovely and helpful and actually gave me a full make-over which I didn't expect. Cammi looked after me, and I thought she was great - tailoring her recommendations to suit me and I learnt lots. V happy with the products I walked away with.

The service at the Myer store was just great. The girls working there were very friendly, and willing to assist and suggest some great products, be they for gifts or for yourself. The ability to smell all the lovely products - shower gel, lip gloss, perfume and much, much more! - was a great touch. It was just a lovely experience.
