arrived a little early but received a warm greeting quickly and shown to table. menus given immediately and our excellent sauvignon blanc arrived quickly and unopened. after pouring us each a glass the bottle is marked and kept cold away from the table. for starters i had a mixed platter of game terrine; quail and a mousse. it was all made by "chef" and while very different it was very good indeed. my wifes oysters were referred to as yummy!!
for mains i had the lamb rump which served very rare and though very good; personally i would prefer a little seasoning! {this is a minor quibble} my wifes blue eye trevalla was "devine" and had mussels with it. nice touch this! we had roast potatoes as an added extra and these were plentiful and cooked in duck fat. also excellent. my wife had a chocolate and citrus desert and this too was top class!. this dining experience while not cheap is made even more worthwhile by the excellent and intelligent service from all who attended to our table. we recommend this restaurant highly.

Approximate cost: $-$40.00
