Open for lunch on Australia day and not too crowded was what sent us in here, but I'll certainly be back when in this area. The BEST steak and mushroom pie I think I've ever had. Light, flaky pastry, very tasty meat and lots of juicy mushrooms and no lie about "hot bread" it was really hot inside. I hate cold pies! My friend had the steak and onion and reported just as much enjoyment. All the baked goods looked wonderful and the Neenish tarts were obviously home made being huge and dome shaped and full of delicious gooey filling and jam. Good drink choice and also a hot bar with chicken sticks and egg and bacon etc. Sandwich bar for fresh rolls and sandwiches too.
Great little shop and lovely, friendly staff.
