They used to be okay but they aren't honouring redemptions now. I've seen plenty of other people posting the same problem. I can't even get them to respond to emails. Steer clear of this site, it's just a waste of your time and effort.
I started this survey company probably about 4 years ago and it was ok at first.
But recently I've been completing 15-20 minute surveys only to be screened out and not getting rewarded. I've tried emailing them and got very poor response from them saying I'm completing too many surveys from them that they email to me (I only do about 9-10 every week). And why give me a survey invite if you think I'm doing too much? Sounds like BS to me.
My advice would be to join much better survey companies out there that pay better and like Pureprofile, Your opinion or Octopus group.
First of all, you think you can make some extra money in your free time by directly joining this survey site. But once you get started getting survey invitations and attending the surveys, you will come to know that you will be screened out of most of the surveys, and the points awarded for surveys you complete are not fair. Also, you need around 16K points for a $20 GiftPay e-voucher minimum reward redemption and 42K for a minimum of $50 PayPal cash redemption. Also, there is no guarantee; they honor your reward after the reward payment threshold of 8 weeks once you redeem your points for any reward. So definitely, you quit this site after doing more than 10 surveys without claiming any reward, and ultimately, Livetribe will only be the financial beneficiary of the effort you put into their surveys.
While there surveys are ok their payment stinks I’m still waiting after a month ,.all,other survey sites pay up immediately Try Pure profile instead

After spending many hours on livetribe surveys and once redeemed hardly earned points for a gift voucher or cash payment, it is their responsibility to make sure the payment is done before 8 weeks. Even though there is a long waiting period and payment is manual, at other survey sites, payment is instantaneous and automated. In my case, they didn't send me two $20 GiftPay vouchers that I claimed two months ago, proving they do not value their members and their effort. Why should we beg them for our reward redemptions by sending frequent emails to the support team? In my experience, better keep away from them; we have other far better options.
Have live Tribe gone broke. They do not appear to be paying their claims. I was about to join when a neighbour of mine received an acceptance of his claim with payment 6-8 weeks It is now over 10 weeks & no payment or communication. has anyone else had this problem ?
I have been a member for some time..takes ages to get points and waiting nearly 7 weeks for $50 paypal is ridiculous
This site is okay. They have a variety of options, such as iTunes, Paypal, QANTAS vouchers etc. However, I found that getting rewards takes a really long time. The last time I ordered a paypal reward, it took about 50 days which is too long in my books. Paypal and iTunes vouchers require more points too. And the points per minute isn't the best out there too. So it is average.
I have joined this site recently. It seems ok because they send you invites to surveys in a second daily basis. It is just the earing of rewards that seem slow because the reward points is low and it would take ages to reach a goal for a reward to be redeemed. Otherwise, they post up interesting surveys that I love giving my opinion to.
I've been a member of this site for a reasonably short time and I've been getting a few surveys but I seem to either get really boring ones or halfway through I get screened out for some reason.
I also find their actual survey set up with tiny little "buttons" really hard to fill in, especially when there's a whole page of options. I have accumulated a few points but I think it's going to be a while before I ever get enough to see a result.
I suppose I should be more patient, but some of the other sites at least have more interesting and colourful layouts with larger and more engaging set ups to their surveys.
So if you give this one a go, be prepared to wait a while unless you're more of an in-demand person than I seem to be.
Totally agree! I just completed a survey and was excited in receiving points, but then I saw how many MORE points I need to get, well... anything.
I get the feeling this site isn't really worth the time :P
I joined it because I saw it on here and have actually been receiving quite a few surveys. The way they do the points in thousands is a bit annoying but I am waiting and saving the points for the $50 EFTPOS card even though it will probably take a while!

I've been a member with LiveTribe for around 1 year and have just made my first redemption for $50 paypal payment and still waiting for that to be processed. that shouldn't take too long as its just a paypal transaction. Which is very easy and simple to do just type in the email address and amount and pay. LiveTribe has improve ALOT after they've updated their points system as it was much harder to earn points before but now alot better. Also get more chances at surveys after the update. They games now and other things on the way to look forward to. Their competitions are quite intriguing.

I found that while surveys do come regularly, i didnt get enough points for the amount of time i had to spend doing them. Also i think the cashout limit is too high.
Livetribe have changed their rules, you now need 40,000 points for $50 Eftpos gift card or cash payment via paypal - it used to be 60,000, so thats a really good thing I say for members

My experience with them is not different. Four months ago, I redeemed all of my points for a $50 PayPal cash voucher, but until today, the amount has not been credited to my PayPal account.
Don't waste your time by creating an account with LiveTribe and doing their surveys. They utilize me completely up to my first reward redemption, a $50 PayPal cash credit. After 10 weeks of waiting, there is no sign of crediting the amount. It's very difficult to qualify for a survey. Mostly, you will be screened out of the survey and eligible for just 120 disqualification points. So it will take ages to accumulate points for a minimum $50 PayPal cash credit. By rejecting your claim, they will make a huge amount from the surveys you completed plus $50 of your claim amount. There are other legitimate and trustworthy survey sites, and the minimum cash credit is $5.

Frequent website issues stop you from logging in and doing other activities.
Their record-keeping system is pathetic, and you must note it down each time you complete a survey, collect points and reward redemption.
They don't have a mobile app for both their website and surveys, and their websites and surveys are not mobile-friendly either.

There is a huge difference in points between the same value of different types of gift vouchers.
Worst customer service team they have; they never respond to support emails.
Other activities they offer are some boring games and useless polls.
They are not eligible for a single-star rating.
