We came here for a birthday party and of course, the other kids wanted a go as well. I found it a little noisy - with disco and rock music blaring and coloured light displays, but the kids found it a lot of fun - even the ones not "skaters".

There are a variety of levels of ability of course, but the newbies hang onto the fence as they go around. You can hire a variety of different skates and they also sell parts etc if you have your own.

The tables for the birthday person were sort of squashed over in one corner, but there was room for most of us to sit at one time, even if we were shouting at each other. Basically it's a huge shed but it's innocently fun entertainment and something a little different. Safety gear is offered at the hire desk too, but I think I had to pay extra for it.

You can have groups here - fundraisers etc. I think they are open every day - weekdays - 11.30 - 2.30 and weekends 10.30 - 3.30. There are also night sessions on Fridays and Saturdays with jump competitions and stuff. Or dance parties too. I also think there's Hockey offered here on Tuesdays.

Family entry under $50 for adults and 3 kids. Single is $10.
