My family and I get takeaway from here at least once a fortnight. I always order a ham and pineapple and an aussie pizza for the kids. They always enjoy it. I love the ham and pineapple too (my son and I share a large). It gets very busy for dinner, so best to order for an early dinner before the rush, or phone in the order. We always have to wait a while for our orders, but I think its worth it. The staff are always pleasant and friendly. Heaps of parking too and close to home. We have never sat in, its too busy and noisy.

Approximate cost: $36

Good food and service...even have a really good red wine shiraz on the menu. It's very family, and you wont leave hungry for a reasonable price. Would recomend if you have a large family.

Terrible place - long waits, terrible food, wrong meals brought out - went there once and never again. Absolutely terrible place to go. Feral bathrooms too.

We have been to La Porchetta many times as we love the welcoming feeling we get when we walk in the door. The staff know us and treat us like old friends. The food is really yummy and great value for your $$

I have eaten here several times and am happy with the meals I have purchased, which usually consists of a salad. I have, however, been here with several people who have found many of the pasta meals to be quite average. As it is generally quite busy it can take a while to be served, but the staff are always friendly and helpful when you are served. This restaurant is great for a family night out, as it is quite affordable, but I would suggest trying something other than the pasta.

Im sorry but its been very few times ive had a meal i really enjoyed here. Back in the early days they were great but now have lapsed into a rut. I have been sick from a meal here & when i have been in there is so many tables there is very little room to move & be comfortable. When i have spoken to many friends & family about this place all have had the same response that it is not what it used to be. Sorry.

Love La Porchetta Cranbourne. Always had a good meal here, never had a bad one. Extremely reasonable prices make it ideal for a family to go out. My husband also likes that they always have TV's on for him to watch while he's eating his tea!

Approximate cost: $18

I have bought take away pizza here a couple of times for dinner. Kids wont let me go anywhere else, as the pizza is the best we have had. Staff are always friendly, although always busy. Probably wouldn't eat in as it's too noisy to enjoy your meal. But it's only around the corner, so also convenient.

You know, I'm often going through Cranbourne looking for tea. Never knew this place was here. Great info, thanks.

i agree about it being too noisy, but it works well as a family restaurant i guess
