Myself and my mates were regulars to Kirk's coming in for a few pints and a bowl of wedges after our golf. We'll we ain't going near you again. Whew you've gone astronomical on your prices. Geeezz I was charged $19.50 x 3 for the bowls of wedges. Ridiculous. As for the bar prices they've gone through the roof. Surely you must do something.

We came to visit a friend who moved from Sydney to Mornington VIC. We loved the town with lots of cafe and eateries. Yesterday 25 April 2018 to Celebrate Anzac we decided to have dinner at Kirks Hotel. I must say it was a very DISAPPOINTING experience. My wife and I ordered scotch fillet &their catch of the day fish. they assured to me they have the catch of the day fish
my wife was content with her stake but my battered fish had no fish but crums. and soaked in dripping oil & when we asked the manager to check my dish she too was also appalled and could not apologise enough on the behalf of the cook, than they brought us grilled fish but that too was horrific! thin as paper and saltier than salt. we did not want to ruin the Anzac night so we just got up and walked out after paying $70 without eating anything as my wife also had lost her appetite seeing my food presented to us the way they did.
shame on the management for not rectifying and making this worst! she should have just offered our money back knowing that the kitchen had closed and asking the chef cook pieces of fish that was rushed or could even be possibly picked up from leftovers and platted on my plate!

Stopped in here for some drinks and a light meal on a warm afternoon and we were lucky to get a park at the back of the building. Another popular destination and if you get a look at the view the restaurant offers you over-looking the ocean- you can see why it's usually so crowded! The restaurant itself it quite large, the building an updated modern take on a classic design. We were seen to quickly, the young ladies in the staff were wearing beautiful dresses and the men dressed sharp. Luckilly we got a table right at the window for full enjoyment of that view, complete with a sun shade that we could adjust at our leisure. Our drinks came quickly as did the food and whilst more expensive then average the quality matched the price and we were all pleased. The restaurant had a very relaxing atmosphere and we will most certainly be visiting again- would be absolutely wonderful to have a dinner here.

The view..oh my god! beautiful view of the bay, delightful and friendly staff and amazing food!! The building itself is lovely to look at. The place to be on a warm summers day enjoying a meal or cold drink. The atmosphere is relaxing and a very pleasant place to be.

Loved the view of the bay whilst dining on beautifully cooked food followed by a great imported beer selection. Joked around with the staff that seemed happy overall a great Sunday afternoon with friends.

Beautiful lunch of grilled flake, salad and chips. Friendly service, with a gorgeous view of the bay as an added bonus. Very modern and a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be dining here again.

We've been here several times. The view and setting is great, the food variable. On our most recent visit we had a Seafood Platter which was excellent - grilled, fresh and fried seafood all good quality and a generous serve (not just all deep fried or filled out with salad the way some pubs do). The pumpkin soup was rated as ordinary and overpriced and the Hummingbird cake was disappointing... little slivers of cake and too much bland, heavy filling and icing. Service can be slow, but it's usually friendly

Approximate cost: $25-30

Spectacular view from the dining area of this old, but refurbished hotel. Awsome seafood selection on their menu and priced accordingly. This lacked something though. I cant put my finger on it, it just did not have a great deal of charm which i was expecting. Food was good, and meals came out fast. I think the competition around town is obvious.

Approximate cost: $25
