Unfortunately, our experience here was a lot more underwhelming than the rival fish n chips. Kallangur fish n chips cod was very dry and tasted unfresh. We could have had better from a box at home. They also took an order for prawns and had none when we picked the order up. We will not be returning.

Cool place here. tasty fish and chips, good location with parking and we were able to sit on the beach to eat the fish and chips, while the kids played in the playground.. . . Recently went here for breakfast.

ive only ordered from this place once, when i was staying at a friends house, and the food was disgusting. the oil in the deep fryers dfinately needed changing and the food just tasted over done and disgusting. the staff were friendly enough and the apperance of the store was good, but the food definately wasnt,

I can not say enough good things about the fish and chips here we have gone twice and all I can say is they are awesome. My hubby and I got the $5 loaded chips between us and a piece of fish each. We could not finish the chips there was just so many so yummy.

The second time we just ordered the $5 loaded chips and it was so yummy. And great service as well.

You get your money's worth here.

With limited options for take away, we thought we'd try Kallangur Fish and Chips for a change. Whilst we were happy enough with the fish, the service and value, the chips, potato scallops and dagwood dogs for the kids were overcooked and chewy. On top of that the grease on the scallops was a little much and the chips were pretty tasteless. Disappointing and not sure that we'll try it again.

We have been to this fish and chips place twice as we like to give places a reasonable go and then find our favourites in an area. This place produces fairly average fish and chips for a reasonable value, but is nothing standout. We prefer chips and scallops at some other places. it can also get pretty busy and take a while to get your order.

The Fish and Chip shop at kallangur most of the time gets the orders right and the food is at a good standard. The best thing about it is the value. They also have a range of fried chicken which tastes great and i highly recommend the chicken burger.

Their snacks are a tad over priced ($2.70 for a spring roll) but their chips are to die for. They are just the best Ive ever had, and have never failed us yet. Their fish is pretty basic (Cod, Whiting, Barramundi) but are still very fresh tasting.
